The CW will be able to promo The Originals more as a new series next fall... Not everyone is aware right now what the network is doing. It will probably do fine. It was a good episode. I am happy they picked the show up, I'll be watching.
Also, very happy about HOD. Its a very light-hearted show that I typically look forward to every week.
Some of my favorite moments in Psych are when Gus is dragging Shawn in the Season 3 episode "Ghosts," when Shawn and Gus and flicking each others' ears in Not Even Close Encounters, definitely when Shawn and Gus do that performance of Shout on American Duos, and most recently when the "Cranberry" blew up. But that doesn't even begin to cover all the moments I love from this show. Every "wait for it," "I've heard it both ways," and "you know that's right" in an episode instantly makes it a winner.
I loved that Troy wanted to go to the Halloween party because he heard there was going to be taco meat from the army there and also, there was another mention of the fact that Britta lived in New York. They were nice callbacks.
Not disappointed by this episode at all. I thought it was a very good follow-up to Crawl Space. Though, I am also confused about how Gus could have poisoned Brock (I actually didn't believe Brock was poisoned with the Ricin until Walt's showdown with Jesse made it make a little more sense) or how Gus knew something was up in the parking garage. I have faith that the writers will make it all make sense and that they just arent writing things because they are convient. I am also glad the killing of Gus (presumably) will be dealt with in the finale.
Also there is too much purple in Marie's and Hank's house. I understand its her favorite color but that shade doesn't do well as home decor.
I watched the pilot yesterday online since I don't get Showtime. I thought it was good. Morena Baccarin was excellent. I loved her reaction to Brody's scars in the scene in the bedroom. Claire Danes character was very off-putting, but thats in a good way. Too bad I won't be able to watch the show right now.
Also, I have know if anyone saw the picture of Christian Kane that was on the daughter's wall in the scene where Jessica barges into the daughter's room. Thats just really unusual...
The funniest part of this episode was Troy's joke about the smell of the fart almost being a solid.. I laughed so hard on that one. I also liked the Britta bit. I thought that was very funny as well, especially when Chang is dragging her out the door while she is in the cage and Britta says "is anybody facebooking this?"
