First and foremost, is there a reason why people over 50 should have tv shows they enjoy? Everything on tv does not need to be geared toward the 20-30 demographic. NCISLA, though I do watch it, is all preposterous blow 'em up stuff. Really? Like that wouldn't be on the nightly national news if that were happening!
LaSalle's accent is way over the top and ultra-annoying. The actress who plays Brodie is too old for the part. They need to reduce the close ups for her!! The stories aren't engaging and the characters except for Pride are BORING!!
My favorite episode by far was the last one, "House Rules." I liked the point of view. I liked the narration. I liked the twist at the end…though I did see it coming. Many did not like the fact that Sarah was only on the phone…never seen. I didn't mind….hey, they have to squeeze it all into 43 minutes! I am not certain Ziva should really be put to rest. I think just maybe she was truly the love of Tony's life, so, if that's true, she should not be. I guess we'll see. I look forward to Tuesdays at 8 and usually watch again at some point…if not it'll be on USA next year!!
LaSalle's accent is grating. The actress playing Brody is kind of old for the part…close-ups do her in!
#16--Timothy McGee on NCIS…"Every moment with you from growing up…Before I say good bye dad, I just want to say thank you for everything. Merry Christmas dad. I love you." The final moment from a powerful episode which I loved. I think in its 12th season for a show to do something like this is certainly commendable. It showcased a character who often seems to take a backseat to Gibbs and DiNozzo.
LOVED THIS EPISODE! Doug needs to add "for me" to many of his opinions. Obviously, for most of us devotees of NCIS, this episode "worked" and "added up" just fine and did not seem disjointed at all. The rules mattered. The flashbacks made complete sense. I think that for a show to do an episode so poignant after so many years on the air is a testament to the strength of the writing and the commitment of the actors. Bravo, NCIS!
Castle: Ryan & Esposito
I think McGee tipped Bert off about the black roses. Remember Bishop said something about the list being specific? Eventually he will probably be caught!
I can add to the list…agree on The Finder and add to that October Road which also starred Geoff Stultz along with an great ensemble cast. Also, The Unit with Dennis Haysbert, Max Martini, and Scott Foley…among others. Sports Night with Peter Krause and the guy who was killed off on The Good Wife. (I think October Road and Sports Night had the same writer!)
I am totally an Alex fan…have been from the beginning. I love that this character has progressed to the place he is in now with Jo. I think all the involvement with the Iraq vet, for all the various reasons, was well-done. The drama with Arizona and Dr. Herman…ugh! More doctor deaths and melodrama. Loved how Jackson handled the April and her mother situation. Nice episode…hour flew!!
