I love the show! Not a fan of Lindsey and Halstead. I enjoyed the double episodes.
First off, we don't have to be friends to discuss good TV. As the reader of your review I did detect a chosen side. As Rande Iaboni delightfully pointed out, it's not a bad thing for The Affair a wonderfully written show. At its core the show is about perspectives, as in your perspective and my perspective will differ. And that is OK, with a show titled The Affair you are bound to have great discussions and opinions.
I see you have already picked a side. It makes this season thrilling its new perspectives! It can't be fun if by the first episode of season 2 you already a side. It's funny these perspectives everyone sees something different in the character switches, that's what makes this show amazing! Which is why it's hard to see who is telling the truth if at all.
Good review! I was sceptical which direction the writers would go this season. But I'm excited they seem to take another turn with this season. I think Peter has had it good for too long. He needs to be knocked off his pedestal much too arrogant. And Alicia has suffered because of it! Now, she has Eli. Good luck, Peter.
Just like you I'm invested. I already have my suspicions about the many characters we have been introduced already. Too soon to tell...but it's fun already!
It's the show getting cancelled because I haven't seen a review for it in weeks?
Great review! I thought I knew what was coming up, however this last episode turned that all upside down. I'm sad about Tommy and Ghost, I hope they come back together before it's too late.
I agree and guessed that also!
Funny and good review, I love this show I hope they continue into next season.
Great review! I also think Dre might be playing all sides. So, much happened in this episode, it is hard to see what might happen next. But like you said things are never going to be the same. Two more to go
