I like this show but I'm tired on the Pan arc.
Who couldn't predict the dialog between Regina and Emma?
Emma: Keep a close eye on him
Regina: I already said I would.
Emma: He doesn't seem quite himself.
Regina: Really. You mean because he asked for me?
Emma: No, I didn't, I didn't mean that.
Regina: That's exactly what you meant. You can't face the fact that I'm his mother too. ...
Predictable as getting wet when thrown into a swimming pool.
When Regina said she was Henry's mother for 10 years, Emma should have said "That's exactly my point. You know Henry better than I do. Quiz him, ask him some questions only you and he knows the answer to.
Then, of course Henry/Pan is taken to Regina's place.
This episode was dismal for me.
I hate when writers keep writing story arcs with bad guys that never die; keep turning up even after they are presumed dead (Malcolm in Arrow) or never getting caught like Amanda in Nikita.
I like long story arcs but NOT when they're absurd.
Jedikiah zapped to their secret place because goofball Russell (like a 3yr old) couldn't keep his hands in his pockets.
I figured out early on that the big secret was John was the hit man for Stephen's dad Roger. What gets me is that they had many opportunities to get rid of Jedikiah. I was amazed when John started firing the gun. I thought wow, maybe this show does have some grit and they're killing off a main character. Whoopee! But, when the dust settled he's STILL alive. That's when this show became stupid for me. Now, I'll just watch it for the eye candy.
Looks like Jedikiah will be the never ending bad guy after all.
I hope Barry get's a regular spot.
Why are you writing / updating this article for ep 5 so long after the ep aired?
It's a great show, it has its moments of pseudo realism.
If Lizzie was thinking slightly off the reservation, she might have thought to gather some of the blood on the floor that belonged to Red and requested a DNA sample and then check that against her own.
I'm not 100% sure that Red is not her father. If he isn't, he sure has a much higher than average protective parental instinct going on.
Wow, that brings back memories. I remember Duck and Cover and Civil Defense.
Looking back we put our trust (as many dopey people still do) in pinheads from the Federal Government. How many people were so ignorant or so uneducated that they bought into that drivel?
As if hiding under a flimsy metal or wood desk is going to make a shred of difference if the building you are in is being blasted by a shock wave that's ripping it apart. It's ludicrous that they spend taxpayer money to put that stupidity on film.
I wasn't expecting the "I quit" but that's going to add some spice to the story.
If this were happening today, I know many women that would have told it like it is. "Listen Dr. Egotrip, I'm a little disgusted by your arrogance and that you made your wife believe she's got the problem getting pregnant when in fact, it's you and your pride and your gun full of blanks that is the real problem."
I'm surprised that as much as Patrick knows about government that he'd think that simply signing a napkin and copies would have carried any weight. Of course we all know that they (the FBI) needs him more than he needs them so he's probably going to get the terms he is asking for.
I would have said to Abbott , I'm not stepping on US soil until I see some official documents agreeing to my terms and that you, Agent Pinhead, are transferred, permanently, at least 1,000 miles away from where I am working.
Shows that I like that could be in danger of getting the axe sooner than later: Arrow, Beauty & the Beast, Sleepy Hollow, Almost Human, Lost Girl, Witches of East End, Masters of Sex, Orange is the New Black, Person of Interest, Reign, Chicago Fire, etc.
6.5 Million for Almost Human is 5.5 million more than that cheeseball show Hart of Dixie that has survived multiple seasons.
The networks should hire me. I am a good barometer. Shows that I like usually don't last more than one or two seasons.
The shows that I don't like go on forever.
Shows I quit watching before season 2.
Survivor - quit after season 2.
Big Brother - qa season 1.
America's Next Top Model - q middle of seas 1
Hostages - qa episode 2
Desperate Housewives of... qa 15 min.
Keeping up with the Kardashashits - qa 5 min.
Cops - qa seas 3
The Following - qa seas 1.
and so many more that keep sticking around like flies and ants at a picnic.
