CSI even with the quality of episodes not up to par with the peak years still would have been a wiser show to keep of the twp CSI shows left. Cyber just stinks. CBS puts the shows they don't want anymore to Sundays at 10 (CSI Miami, CSI, probably Cyber). When they kept preempting shows last year and then cut the number of episodes I had a feeling the death knell was sounding. The weakest point of the show was Laurence Fishbourne who just seemed out of his element. At least Ted Danson made the show watchable again and I could believe in his character more. I hope people weren't surprised by the Nick and Findlay omissions. Both made it clear they would not be back. George Eads more so with his actions. At least a finale was given so that I give CBS credit for. Hoping beyond hope but a special episode would be nice if they can get the cast together again. Thanks for letting us follow the evidence all these years!
I thought all the episode was funny. Lily might not have many lines because she has probably started school now, and they might be trying to cut back on her involvement in the show slightly to give her some token chance at a bit of a normal childhood. I actually really liked seeing Mitch and Jay bond. I know they stereotype Dylan a lot but I found it really entertaining, especially seeing Phil and then Claire snap. I don't think Luke has been giving a stereotype teenage identity at all. The fact he would ditch two college girls to stay with his sister is saying a lot for his family values. I thought the episode was super cute. Maybe a little stereotyped, but I mean it's Modern Family, that's how it rolls
I liked the book series. Hope they do it justice. I will watch, at least the first few episodes.
I'm telling you when you read certain recaps (this, vulture, ew etc), you swear this show was about Mellie but I know in my heart it's not because I would never watch a show about someone so mediocre. I can turn on any channel and see a Mellie like character. I can count on my fingers the in-depth analyses written about Mellie but the recappers love themselves so good ole victim Mellie. Olivia has been thru so much herself & has just as many demons but you wouldn't know from reading recappers of this show. Hey, I love u Liv! Any who I turned it off after awhile and opted to read recaps and clips once I saw we were in for another All About Mellie bitching/whining hour. I know all her speeches by heart now. Blah blah sacrifices, blah blah blah growl growl, and over the top wig and horrible dresses. Shonda just send me Mellie scripts ahead of time so I can know what episodes to not watch. I don't care about Mellie. Christine, just call me when Cyrus turns on her (what he does with everyone eventually). That's the only storyline I'm here for because let's be honest when has anything ever worked out for Mellie esp when she teams up w/Cyrus? These 2 always remind me of a fake ass Boris and Natasha. Now with her being alone, when shit hits the fan she can't continue to blame others because hey Mellie literally has none of these ppl around her anymore. Mellie is the Meek Mills of Scandal, always looking for the perfect diss track that never is but when she does crash/burn, I will watch that scene over and over again like old Martin episodes.....lol

1. The "Elena Diary" needs to end. It's a distraction if used in the future. For this first episode, it was fine because it caught the audience up with the events of the time gap. Elena is gone -- be done with it already. 2. Hopefully, with having been asleep for 3 years that is enough "rest" for Damon to get over it and we don't end up with a post-Elena brooding Damon any further. Let's back to the Damon pre-Elena when he was actually fun, entertaining and interesting. Loved his bonding time with Alaric and Bonnie -- those were actually the best scenes of the episode. 3. The girl silhouetted at the end attacking the brothers is clearly Caroline. I have no thoughts on this yet other than hopefully that will mean neither brother will be in a ridiculous teenage angst relationship any longer. 4. I'm really sick of the all-powerful witch stories. There is a fresh start here but, unfortunately, rehashing a running theme that vampires are at the bottom of the totem pole in the supernatural hierarchy isn't fresh. If it is going to be an entire season of watching the bros get their butts kicked, it will get old fast. We want fun bros, not tortured. If there is torture, let's see it coming from Damon.
I much prefer Lizzie outside of the FBI. As an agent, she was absolutely worthless of anything not spoon-fed to her by Red (although she spoke as if she were the one to come up with the information). Also, now that she is no longer hating Red and treating him like garbage she is a lot more likable. At the very end in the container, their conversation was nice and, for once, her presence on the screen didn't result in me wanting to mute it. She is a much better character/actress as second-fiddle to Red than partner to Ressler. This new direction of the show is fantastic. We needed the build up of the last two seasons to appreciate where it is going now but I'm glad those seasons are past. Hopefully, the Dembe situation will be resolved soon. That is the one direction I'm not liking.
once again, everybody was controlling fitz, and tony looked uncomfortable in his role last night. can't the writers ever have him showing strength and decisiveness for more than 30 seconds? olivia has been reduced to a whining, confused mess; abby, as usual, was running around in an uncontrolled frenzy, and liz' role was still pretty useless. the episode gave me whiplash. shonda/writers continue creating weak story lines for jake, and to top it off, jake and rowan looked life compadres planning to work together again??? based on promotions of the episode, i thought i'd be entertained. not!!
Great start! I'm actually quite excited for these final episodes. I still think Haven has stayed good during seasons 4 & 5, albeit not as good as seasons 1-3. By the way, was that girl who Duke saved in part 2 Krissy from Supernatural?
cant wait...cant wait....cant wait...
