Regarding Oliver being offered the Leadership of the League, I hate to be That Guy (but I am): told you so! Back in November, before it was revealed that Thea killed Sara (yes, I picked that, too), I said that Ollie would be drafted into the LOA. I didn't think as the new Leader, but close enough. Now, does it make sense, and should Ollie accept? No on both accounts. Ra's intent in offering Ollie the leadership position, sets him up with the "How do I reject the leadership job--and somehow save my sister's father" question. Indeed, if Ra's is as clever as he's suppose to be, this is exactly his motive for offering Ollie the leadership job: forcing Ollie to "allow" (by turning down the leadership) the LOA to kill Malcolm. It's a moral quagmire, and exactly the type of logic the LOA uses in "cleansing" the world. My bet: Ollie turns down the Offer, and Malcolm dies. On to Raylicity. Yea...Yea...Yea! I love them together. I know how many people (I go to comic con) LOVE Ollie & Felicity--but they just don't work together as a romantic couple. Remember: Ollie is pretty sleazy on the romance chart. Laurel...Sara...Huntress...Shado...the mother of his child...Felicity. Who am I forgetting? Let's just say every woman apart from his sister, mother, and Lyla (so far). So, if you like Felicity at all, you don't want her with Ollie. Being a terrible romantic partner is one of his many flaws (Yes, and he's the Hero of this series?) The Laurel/Nyssa relationship is a bit icky! Nyssa was in love with Laurel's sister--and now what? Will Laurel & Nyssa hook-up? I hope not. It would cheapen the Nyssa/Sara relationship, that I loved very much; and seemingly take Laurel in yet another new direction. And we've had way, way too many turns with Laurel character already. So, again: let's not go there. All of which, in looking back on my comments above, leave us with the same old question: "Where is Season 3 going?" I don't think the writers really know, and that's too bad. Let's hope they do a better job on Season 4.
A person who turns puppies into a coat should have the blackest heart. Just MHO. Cruella's makeup is fantastic though; and I love the car. I also thought "CASTLE!" when Hook brought coffee for his law enforcement girlfriend. I liked the "Night on Bald Mountain" reference from FANTASIA. My kids got that before I did. I guess Belle's Beast will never turn into a prince. He'll forever be a Beast because of his selfish choices. If losing Bae & Belle multiple times wasn't enough to make him give up the Dark One, I don't think he ever will.
Great show, liked it the first time I saw it. On my list of must watch shows, please don't screw it up.
It is interesting that Deanne mentioned that Rick's group was the first group they even considered bringing inside. That implies there were other groups. How did they fight them off? A tall fence is good, but will not protect from an assault by a group of bad humans, like the prison assault by Woodbury.
Discoverd the series last week. Then, in one day, after several hours sayin .. "Just one more", I realized I'd gone 8 hours straight through to season 3 episode 2. Facsinating show. Great characters!
Another fantastic episode.I knew Harvey would get Donna out of the mess she was in, however if it was not for Mike's idea I am not sure how Harvey would have done it.The look on Harvey's face when he left Donna's apartment after saying he loved her, seems like he really is in love with her. However I am sure if they do get together it will not be until the end of the series.I was surprised that Jeff resigned especially after what Jessica said to him.

It was a great episode and this was a great review! I think Ed Asner did a great job at making us laugh at such a homophobic sexist who disrespected Alicia! Alicia should introduce Guy to Jackie and see if she can get her mother-in-law out of her hair once and for all!
One little quibble: I WISH they'd standardize how they pronounce Ra's. Some pronounce it like Raish; others as Rahss. It gets really irritating.
I think it's a tomato tom-ah-to type of thing. I noticed Nanda Parbat being pronounced the same two ways people pronounce aunt, as well -- ant and awnt, nanda and nawnda. Meh. ;-)
Alright I am fully prepared to be labeled an awful obnoxious shipper right now but I have to say my peace about this Stimmy situation. I feel like bringing back Stimmy was just a slap in the face by the writers. It felt like (and from what I have read many other fans feel the same) they were sick of Stimmy/Fiona shippers complaining about wanting Stimmy to return so they were like "Eff it. Let's bring him back and destroy all hope of them ending up together. Then maybe they will all finally shut up." The problem is I think they overestimate our ability to let go of Stimmy. Stimmy and Fiona were the heart of the show from day 1. The writers insisted on making him a complete jerk in season 3, probably because they wanted the fans to be okay with him being killed off, but that doesn't erase the first two seasons. Season 1 they were fantastic together. Season 3, let's be realistic, Fiona turned Stimmy into a glorified housewife and wasn't there for him. Yes, he cheated on her but I honestly don't fully blame him. If they were going to just bring Stimmy back to have Fiona reject him then they just should have just had him stay dead. I personally was starting to get used to the fact that he was gone and wasn't going to be coming back, and then the season 4 finale happened and I went right back to my Stimmy/Fiona shipping. In what world would Stimmy have given up as easily as he did in this episode? He wouldn't. If he is really the "selfish jerk" they want to portray him as he wouldn't have honored Fiona's wishes. He would have stuck around, integrated himself into her life and proved he could be the person she needed. But instead he just rides off on his motorcycle without really trying? Come on. The character that was in this episode didn't seem like the same character we saw in last week's episode. Plus the fact that we have no reason to root for her and Gus. Fiona can say she has changed and grown but really, she hasn't. Gus is just another nice guy that Fiona will eventually mess things up with because she isn't meant to be with the nice boring guy. The show is called Shameless for a reason. Okay rant over. On the other side of things: Mickey and Fiona need to have more scenes together because they have fantastic chemistry on screen. I hope once Ian is out him and Mickey integrate themselves into the Gallagher clan more. Love that Debbie is finally getting a real boyfriend that she doesn't have to rape into being with her (her words not mine lol). I just wish they would tone down her roid rage a little though. Sammi. My god she is a nut job. I mean we kind of always knew it but her daddy issues hit a whole new level this week. I am actually a little pleased that she shot Frank. But that scene after where he finally says he needs her and she flips on the crazy creeper switch. Wow. Can they please go back to giving Lip some interesting story lines once in a while. Does anyone really want to spend a whole episode watching him run around sorting financial issues? Really? Come on writers. The actor is so strong and his character has always been great. This season has just has been super boring for him. Now that I think about it so was last season. I get that his arc is about him overcoming his roots and becoming more than just another low life from his neighborhood but does it have to be soooooooooooooooooooo boring?! Can't he become intelligent and successful but still be that guy we knew and loved before. Maybe the problem is that the Gallagher family for the most part has been split up the past two seasons. And really they are better when they are together. I can't even talk about Vi and Kev because I will go into another rant.
OOOOOOMMMMMGGGGG!!!! You literally hit the nail on the head! I feel the exact same way!!! I don't understand why they made me run around my house with tears of joy in the season 4 finale, only to make me wanna slit my wrists…I am building resentment and thats not good, plus I too cannot stand the feeling the Gallagher's have right now! It's as if they don't know what is going on with each other anymore and it's making me super sad. Lastly I too have ZERO affinity towards Gus. He could get hit by a bus tomorrow and I would give no fucks.
LOVED IT! So hoping it turns into something even semi-good. WD been WAY depressing for a long time now. "We brought dinner!" lol. Loved Carol & her "happy housewife" fake act, dressing like June Cleaver. But place got secrets, who took Ricks blender gun? & you so KNOW he is gonna kill "nice hairdresser" lady's creepy husband at some point. Can't wait to see what happens next.
