What song was played at the end?
Did anyone answer your question I wondered who was singing
the death of Sweets was so unexpected. everyone was so focused on what was happening to Booth that it was a shock what happened to Sweets. But you could see the love and respect that everyone had for him and that made it easier to deal with and they got the bad guy
I figured out quickly that the Russian was all an oxygen deprived delusion pretty quickly. This episode reminded me of parts in World War Z when you learn about what happened to Simon ' s counterparts in the novel who had a front row seat (they all committed suicide due to what they saw and heard) and the herds of zombies in the Midwest. The writers definitely know their zombie literature. I took Murphys rejoining if the family as an act of mercy after my teen said he knew they could not make it so better to be reunited. He does not think zombies are totally brain dead anymore. I wonder if the woman died, she did have a knife. It would be awkward if they ran into her again blowing Murphys integration in the group. Was I the only one who noticed that it was a different dog at the end. I own a Malamute so I pay extra attention to Pup.
The problem with the show is that they made Sonny and Will a tired old married couple with a baby - seems to be what soaps do - remember Kish on OLTL left with a baby girl. God forbid if a gay male couple had a boy. See Modern Family same trope.
This episode very much reminded me of the early seasons, with the exception of Mara being around. I very much liked it.
Great review. I agree that this episode was chalk full of interesting situations and interactions.
I did enjoy this episode, I really liked the fact that JLH wasn't shown as much and she spoke very little, don't like her. I love all the other regulars and I love how Reid did his famous quoting!
They certainly are doing a clean sweep of the Sami Brady clan. I feel sorry for the actors who are losing their jobs because Alison decided to leave the show. Unintended consequences. They can always bring the kids back later as teens. Will would not be going to California unless the character is being written out, he later on with another actor playing the role. The recast just didn't take.Oh well, now they can move some of the other characters to the front, and create some new ones.
I never said she didn't love Fitz and I'm not acting brand new at all. This is a discussion board where ppl share their thoughts about the show. Please re-read my comment. I said I feel she may love Jake more now and I still stand by what I said. And 11 other ppl agreed to what I said as well. Please point out where I said she doesn't love Fitz cause I don't see where I said that. So I'm trying to understand your comment to me cause you all out in left field about something I never said. I don't think Olivia all super hot & heavy for Fitz like she once was. This woman just spent 2 months on an island being banged out every day by another man she's grown attached to and started loving. So no....I defitnitely don't feel the feelings are super deep as they once were. I want to see her & Fitz together but I feel her feelings for Jake during those 2 months have intensified and are strong enough to pull her from Fitz......Or at least make her torn. And I feel she may of just said it was a chance to Fitz to buy herself some time to make sure Jake is guilty cause she really loves him. That's my opinion. Please respect it, as I respect everyone else's opinion on here and not say they're acting "brand new" (who still says that?) when I don't agree. Thank you!

Did you watch episode 404? Olivia and FItz in the oval. When he gave her an Fitzgasm just by breathing on her. That oval scene with Olivia and Fitz fully clothed was hotter than anything jake and Liv did naked the previous 3 episodes. I also agree with the person who said that Liv on the Island in her natural curl dream was thinking about Fitz while making love to Jake. Liv is not passionate at all about Jake. I see someone settling and forcing herself to be happy and to move on. Its not working...Counting down to the Olitz sex scene that is coming during November sweeps...208"Happy Birthday Flashback"...308"Vermont"...my prediction it will happen in 409...the title of the episode is "Where the sun don't Shine"...
I agree Art. It's no denying Liv and Fitz's chemistry. It's off the radar. And I want her to be with Fitz because of that chemistry. But I just can't ignore how she got upset when Jake treated their relationship,as a booty call relationship. She threatend to cut him off if he didn't go to dinner at her dad's house. She refused to take no for an answer on seeing Jake at the pentagon because she had to look in his eyes and see if the man she has grown to love could kill all these ppl. Does she love Fitz? Yes! Does Fitz make her hot? Yes! But her feelings for Jake have become too great to be ignored. She's shown us that. All I'm saying is....don't be shocked if we get thrown a dodgeball and she ends up picking Jake..when we all thought Fitz was a shoe-in. I just always keep my eyes open for the unexpected.

As an Olitz fan I have been saying that she is going to pick Jake. Where else could they go with their story if she doesn't right ? I think that it is going to be hard to keep the ball going in the triangle without her choosing one or the other. Since Fitz is married, Jake will win by default. Now, if they really want to heat things up they will show a divorced Fitz fighting for Olivia's affections. That would be interesting. Yes , I agree with you about Olivia's feelings for Jake. Olivia cares about Jake, and that time away with him probably brought them closer together. I don't think being with him will make life easier for the great Olivia Pope. She is a complicated character whose flaw will always be her love for Fitz.. I think choosing Jake will make her see that try as she might she will always love him.
I noticed that, but for me it was Olivia trying to be normal and trying to make what she had with Jake work when she was trying to get him to go to dinner with her and Rowan. The lame talk of her asking how was his day while he was thinking about something else was so mundane. Olivia Pope try as she may will never be in a normal relationship with any man. She's too high maintenance and ambitious to settle for normal. I think ultimately, she wants Vermont with Fitz but even then, she'll be making Jam and still saving people and taking cases. The way Liv acted while saving Jake is typical Olivia Pope, yes she does care about Jake, but I saw it more like her trying to save him from an injustice and not allowing an innocent man to die. This is why she took the assassin case, Olivia Pope fighting for the underdog is who she is and sometimes by doing that she gets played. So I think she sees Jake more as project than a true love. He's B613, trained killer...she wanted to save him from that. Jake could be working with Maya for all we know and maybe Maya has escaped the hole and Rowan hasn't let on because he told everybody she was dead. (Spoiler...Natalie Abrams of EW wrote that she attended the finale table read and she was surprised to see an familiar face (he or she) there. In essence haven't Liv already settled/chosen Jake when she went away with him for 2 months? I'm sure that is the way Fitz saw it when he said there was no hope of them getting back together and with all the lies & one of her parents killing his child. The first six episodes they have played boyfriend/bootycall/relationship. So there has to be some progression in the story and I agree with George, there is no other place to go with Jake and Olivia. I really can't see the triangle being the main focus after the Winter break. Taking down Command won't be easy and the truth will be out because the (spoilers... for episode "the last supper" which airs in two weeks have Liv, Fitz, and Jake working to take down Command and still fighting over Olivia). So by that episode Fitz will know Rowan killed his son. The writers could prolong killing Rowan until after the Winter Break, but I think the main story will be the person who had a locker full of pictures of Olivia. Maya, Edison, even Reston...I really want Scandal to surprise me on this one.
"She is too high maintenance and ambitious for normal." Yes, indeed. I think that her relationship with Fitz is somewhat ambivalent in the sense that she is not sure of what to do if he became available and what kind of relationship they would have. The dilemma for her is if she could have him, would she want him. She had told Edison Davis that she did not want the house with the white picket fence and baking apple pies. When Fitz offered her Vermont and making jam, she was not exactly overwhelmed by that idea, but liked Fitz's show of commitment. I think she will be still struggling to figure out HOW the relationship with Fitz would work after the show gets through the current crisis.

Team Fitz forever. An Emmy to Tony Goldwyn
I really like this. I'm amazed at the quantity of horror ish shows I'm watching and enjoying. Hank has a girlfriend. Hank has a girlfriend. LOL. Methinks you like Zed. So do I. I was surprised you didn't key in on the physical connection that happened when Zed and Constantine touched. They were both shocked at the intensity of that. I didn't like the part where he got the sludge from the shower head, but that is trivial. The effects are really fabulous. The shower scene, the mudfilled car, the mine explosion, the rippling mine floor and the creatures, and Zed's drawing is wonderful. Very happy so far.
Zed rocks my world! I didn't key in on their physical connection cause I was totally jealous haha. This is more my kind of show compared to Z Nation. The world and tone are consistent. You get a feel for who these characters are and how they'll react to certain situations. My problem with Z Nation is you never know what you're going to get from one week to the next. It's like lets throw stuff out there, see what sticks. I realize they're very different shows, but Z Nation is losing me. If Constantine gets a full season, I'm sure it's going to rock. Besides I know you're a Da Vinci's Demons fan, like that show the storytelling will only open up and get more complex. I'm excited about the possibilities.
I agree! I was unaware that there is a controversy about the fact that the showrunner has said that they do not plan to address that in the canon, C is bisexual. Frankly, I don't see that being a huge factor in the story, but I haven't read the comics. I didn't think it was right when we never saw LGBTs, but I don't like what I consider gratuitous scenes (whether it's guy/girl, guy/guy, girl/girl or WHATEVER) placed solely to make a point which ISN'T the storyline. It's like, just tell the story.Rewatch the scene where he touches her and she flashes. It's amazing.
