I think Fuinn reunited for 1 purpose to heal and help each other do that. Finn and Quinn have both lost their belief in themselves as having potential and worthy of all great things in the world and they can and will be successful at whatever they put their minds to. Quinn put it succintly Rschel would be able to leave where she was resigned to stay and be the best at what there was there in Lima. Her true aspirations of life after high school have been waned to resignation. She talked of Finn as taking Burt's business over making him as resigned as she. As long as he continues to be that way Quinn will be insecure of herself But Finn is there to help her rediscover herself and her dreams that are attainable and he will see that too. Rachel will be his catalyst watching her explore and succeed not to be jealous or anything but resigning himself that he was holding her back from her aspirations. He has lost his way and self confidence like Quinn. This is the mending they will make together. And for the total love between them I feel Finn has reservations an is holding back on purpose becuz of lack oftrust even yet. We will see how things play out. But IMO Finn will be on the tfence as long as Rachel is single. Keep aware if you will. He will always have an eye in her direction like many who post on these forums say when Rachel has a fella he will then begin to chase her becuz he likes and longs for the chase. That is insecure and inmature Finn. The only thing about this Triangle is that someone will get hurt eventually.
Quinn did show that she is insecure in the last episode, which made me sad. She has lost so much, at such a young age. She just wants to back to the way it used to be, before she got preggers. She was happy with Finn, and Finn makes her happy. She fears that Rachel will take away the one thing that makes her happy, and that's understandable. And it's understandable as to why she was being bitchy to Rachel. She obviously wants Finn, and she knows that Finn is a confused boy. She knows that he loves Rachel and her, and she fears that he will leave her for Rachel. Why hate on her for that? Yeah, she made mistakes previously, but so did Rachel. Everyone makes mistakes--especially on Glee. Quinn is just one of those girls who hide their insecurities through acting stuck-up and catty. I can feel for the girl. i love Quinn, and I just hope he finds her way. I think Finn needs to be there for her, especially now. They can work their selves through this together. Who knows what can happen. RM just needs to let this relationship happen, for us ALL to understand them as a couple. Because we never fully did. It is not fair..
If Quinn really loved Finn how could she consider him damged to the point of being attracted to someone as annoying as Rachel. Finn is so flawed to the point of his being non comittal. He has no spine against either girl both with domineering attitudes. He can't stand on his own 2 feet and make decisions on his own and won't back any one who has different opinions of the norm. He has to explore his inner feelings about himself and whom he needs to be to be a man. He has to do that before he can be anything other than a wimp to anyone especially a girlfriend whether it's Rachel or Quinn. He is flawed so badly to the point that he hasn't had character development to make Finn responsible to see himself as a man worthy confident to tackle the world on his own merits and in his own way on his own terms at his own time all knowing he can be all he is by being on his own not needing anyone to make him feel special. Like Rachel always felt she needed a boyfriend for that. At the end of Original Song she felt that validation from the club by believing in her and it made her see she was worthy. Finn and Quinn haven't had that character building yet and they will. But IMO Finn needs to be alone not with either Quinn or Rachel for they are both needy and manipulative he cannot handle their dominating attitudes yet. Quinn needs to discover her inner being and focus on finding something that motivates her to the point of being a pathfinder to success becuz she is wise and talented in a different way than Rachel. Rachel's is music. Quinn's is drive and commitment to a cause. Someone said she'd be a great lawyer I think they were right about that. But as I truely feel all three have so many wonderful things about their characters but they counteract each other's to the point they falter and fall on their face like Quinn last year Rachel this year. I saw Finn Quinn Rachel in the audience watching Klaine sing Candles. I don't feel Finn was thinking of Quinn while sitting next to her I feel he is torn becuz his look was in Rachel's direction.
Finn alone to reinvent his himself as a confident assertive MAN. Finn's character I hope will be the next for development in the ensuing storyline so all of us can see where his mind has been going and see his lightbulb turn on.
Quinn alone to assess and reinvent herself as confident not needy to any man or to settle for any thing other than a great things. Not feeling having or settling for Finn to make her feel worthy and resign herself to only that she deserves right now.
Rachel alone to reinvent herself confidence worthy and focus on being the special person she hopes to be not having a boyfriend to fill that void. She is making strides to being a good person and I'm thankful for that. She is my most favorite character but even she this season was sickening to me. I'm glad she has had the character growth she deserves. After all one would think she wpuld have learned some things after a year and a half of being scoffed at and ridiculed.
We all want a good storyline but a logical one. We all want good things for these characters and watch them see the light. See it turn on and see them change for the better. I for one wish the writers will put more influence into writing for Finn as the season comes to a close.
I hate rachel. She is making Quinn and Finn's life just hard. When Quinn said that rachel doesnt belong there i agreed 100% she has no buisness being there!! Rachel should transfer school. FUINN 4ever
Rachel is so annoying. When Rachel and Finn were in relationship, Quinn never question it or to destory the Finchel. I think that Quinn isn't using Finn, because i think she could be prom queen with Sam or Puck.
S, that was very well written. And I partially agree with you. They all need to find themselves, and it's good to do it alone. But I still feel like I want to see where Finn and Quinn's relationship can go, without having anyone(like Rachel) get in the way. I think they deserve that. I just don't hope RM doesn't make it seem like Q is trying to use Finn to get prom queen. Because obviously, as of now we see something more than that. But this show does twist and turn into random plot lines, so you never know. Thats why I'm never confidant with my ships on this show. And I don't think you should be either..
I completely agree with everyone's comments.
The only reason Quinn said what she did to Rachel is because she is very insecure. After all the drama she has been through she probably is longing for a normal high school experience, which there is absolutely nothing wrong with.
When the confrontation between quinn and rachel went on, you could clearly tell that quinn was not very confident in what she was saying (her voice was shaking) Personally I think that Quinn, like many high schoolers, is at a point in her life where she is questioning who she is and really just trying to find a direction for her life. As much as she doesn't like Rachel, Quinn knows that she is extremely talented and that her talent can take her very far. Quinn probably feels like she won't really amount to much after high school, but being with Finn can change all that. He was her first love and she wants to build a future with him in order to have that sense of security.
As for the whole desperatly wanting to be prom queen, I think that fits in with her longing to amount to something great in high school. She wants to be known for more than having a baby, and essentially leave behind a legacy.
I don't think Quinn is a bitch at all. I just think like many people her age, she is going through a teenage crisis. She has to figure out who she is and where she belongs. I think that getting back together with Finn would give her (and him) time to realize what they really want in life, and in the process (like everyone else has been saying) heal eachother.
I know I have said this time and time again.. and it really does bug me, but Finn and Quinn NEED to happen. If Finn is gonna get back with Rachel (like i'm hoping they do) he needs to be with Quinn and they both have to pick up their relationship where it was abruptly cut off.
@Noraaaaa I was Finchel at the end of s1 but when this season started Rachel was so obnoxious I couldn't stand her ( writers made her that way to be funny Not to all of us viewers). Finn became a wimp and useless just a dog on a leash Ick. No I don't ship Finchel I hope for good character development and great stories to tell not musical numbers with fill in so so stories. That's been this season and I for 1 have been very disappointed to say the least. I care about the interpersonal relationships between anybody not goofball slapstick that was early in the season. I hope the plots get very interesting and fulfill our interests.
