Glee Movie Trilogy
-
If you’re a Gleek like me, you’ve felt like a part of your life has been missing since the first-season finale of Glee. But chin up, fellow Gleeks! All of the Glee stars are signed on for up to three Glee films with 20th Century Fox Television.
Series regulars from the quirky musical comedy show all signed on for up to three films when they first started the show. 20th Century Fox Television has the “option” to get the television show stars involved in up to three movies based on Glee.
The contract states that the undersigned actor “hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature length motion pictures.”
The contract was signed by Glee stars including Lea Michele (who portrayed the anal-retentive Rachel), Cory Monteith (who played the lovable Finn), Dianna Agron (who made Quinn relatable), and Mark Salling (who made women across the nation drool in his portrayal of Puck).Color me excited! I may have to take the rest of the day off and spend the time brainstorming possible plotlines: will Brittany (Heather Morris) join a gang a la West Side Story? Will Mr. Scheuster (Matthew Morrison) have a raging crush on Rachel? What ridiculous plotlines do you hope to be touched upon in the Glee films?

The one thing I was thinking is that movies would have to be set in the summer so as to stand alone. Many things come to mind, then. Here's three:
I could see Rachel signing everyone up for a music camp and even arranging for the camp to provide the cost for everyone. How? Well, by the glee club members having to serve as camp counselors for all the 10-12 year old kids. The climax of the camp being the show the kids and counselors are to put on. And the humor and warmth being the ways the various glee club personalities deal with the kids and their mischief/problems.
Or here's an idea to include Jesse -- again, during the summer. Maybe some kind of accident or injury or health problem that will mean Rachel's mother will be on medical leave from teaching ... with a new baby to take care of. And Rachel and Jesse get both glee clubs to "put on a show." Can imagine sub plots that bring the baby back into play and Rachel and her mother developing some kind of relationship, maybe some comic permit problems, etc.
A third idea, for after they are national champions is some kind of foreign tour. It could be as simple as to London ... but some really strange countries would be more fun.

omg... them as camp counselors!!! I can't even imagine Puck dealing with the little kids... maybe the fatherly instincts we occasionally saw will come out though. I'm not usually one who cares about seeing something the very night it premieres... but I might have to make an exception for this.
