I'm re-watching season 2 and theres something I don't get.
what was soo offensive about rachel and finn's duet in episode 4? (titled Duet). Could someone please explain it to me?
He was dressed as a priest and she almost looked like a nun, and the song talks about a male-female relationship. That's VERY offensive!
In "Duets," why was Rachel and Finn's duet considered offensive? The song they sang was "With You I'm Born Again" by Billy Preston & Syreeta. The song is about two people being 'born again' through each other's touch. Rachel and Finn used their costumes (a Judaic women and a Catholic school boy) to make religious references which made it offensive to someone. However, they were trying to be offensive on purpose to throw the competition/audition.
oh ok makes sense now.. thanks everyone for the explaining that to me
