USA sibling Oxygen also broke out its pocketbook, snapping up the basic-cable syndication rights to Fox’ Glee, with an eye toward running a marathon of season two episodes in January 2011. On the heels of the winter cable debut, Oxygen will develop a companion unscripted competition that will feature contestants battling for a guest stint on Glee. The reality show will bow next June.

See, I don't know exactly how I feel about this. One thing for sure is that it will bring greater popularity to the show, but there is a huge down-fall to that. I don't want Glee to become over-exposed as a show, like Twilight.. (i.e. toy dolls, posters, lunch pals, reality shows, etc.)
Why can't they just leave an extremely popular thing for once?! A concert-tour is absolutely perfect, though. That's the best part, but a reality show to find someone to guest star? C'mon.
Of course, that's just me.
No. I definitely agree with you.
I don't mind the celebrities appearing, but a competition show? ugh, I don't even watch American Idol.
And why don't we focuz on bringing Jesse back then finding someone new?
LMAO...sry, just had to be said.
I want The Groff to come back full-time. It needs to be done. Thank goodness he'll be back in season two you cause an eruption in Finnchel.
Also, who is this Charice chick? I've never heard of her. Is she permanently going to be on Glee, or just a guest star? This is another thing that Glee is bound to mess up. Leave the original cast the way it's supposed to be. I don't want this Rachel vs. Charice competitive solo drama, we all know the spotlight absent-minded lands on Rachel.
And, I actually think the show is popular as it is already.
No need for overexposure, imo. The critics, ratings, buzz, and awards should speak on their own.
I don't know why I put "you". I meant "to cause an eruption in Finnchel", lol.
