Reply to Postwheres glee going?

has anyone else wondered about where the glee show can go after season 2? the cast members are in the final year of high school, theyre preparing for prom, obviously the nest step is for the cast to leave high school and brave the big bad world. The face that nationals are in new york and rachel obviously has aspirations for broadway seems to suggest that a rachel spin off could be on the cards. has anyone heard anything about the plot of season three? does glee start again with a new cast? hard to see it

they're actually only juniors now. so season three will still have the same people and maybe one or two new ones. ryan murphy has already said that after the original cast "graduates" from high school, they'll continue with a new cast (well, new kids in ND at least.) not sure how that's gonna work, though... I think they'll lose a lot of viewers.

it just strikes me that it seems incredible that having invested so much time and energy into building the characters into complete rounded entities that genuinely viewers care about that the shows producers could start again with a new cast. the other thing that hits me is how many of the current cast could have decent plotlines outside high school? rachel obviously, mike, maybe even brittany have the talent to go further in show business...the rest of the cast im not so sure..they do seem like small town caricatures with limited appeal in a non mckinley context...thanks for your post...i didnt realise they were juniors, for some reason i just assumed they were seniors and on the cusp of graduating

IF THE SHOW ENDS UP WITH NEW CAST, I AM SORRY BUT I WILL NOT WATCH IT! FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS IT TOOK ME TO WARM UP TO HALF THE CAST, AND NOW I LOVE THEM AND DONT WANT THEM GONE! ITS STUPID TO MAKE A SHOW ABOUT A CERTIN GROUP OF PEOPLE, THEN IN 5 YEARS TIME GET RID OF THEM........ WHAT HIT SHOW DID THAT? NONE!!!! IT WONT BE THE SAME WITHOUT THE FUNNY BRITNEY AND HOT SANTANA AND THE LOVE SQUARE BETWEEN FINN, RACH, JESSIE AND QUINN, IF U ASK ME GLEE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME WITHOUT ALL THE ORIGINAL CASTS! AND I WILL NO LONGER FEEL PROUD TO BE A GLEEK :(

I think RM should do a spin off for the show where some of the cast or all end up going to Julliard or some other kind of performing arts school that way it will still have some of the classic glee in it but with a twist.

Unfortunately after season 3 there will be a new cast brought in :(

they keep hinting that the cast will be replaced eventually most likely after s3 but I think they will try and keep some of the characters on nothing has actually been said that they are definitely going to replace everyone
I don't know if I would watch with a new cast though
