WTF???? @wheres waldorf girl u are crey crey if u think this is a chair forum. Its also the amazing DAIR, Nair, Serenate, etc forum. Get off you chuck pedastool
like chuck say to lily, not like she has in the past, it's different, she changing
But i don't think it's a bad thing. Chuck is (or at least should be) changing too. People grow up and change. And sometimes these changes lead you to not be in love anymore with the person you were in love with in high school. I don't think it's a bad thing. It's life. We shall see I guess how it all plays out.
However if Dair is to happen surely it can be done organically - no ? i.e we don;t need Blair to tell Chuck she is over him in order for Dan to win her heart. We don't need to recycle the same kiss that CB famously shared at the end of S2 . We don't need to invent essay storlines that happened off screen.first point: actually blair does need to be over chuck for dan to win her heart. chair fans just don't want her to be over chuck when shes with dan so that she'll be longing for chuck the whole time. Like honestly i can't believe your serious with this. thats actually one of the things they need the most to be given an honest shot at a relationship. 2nd point about the kiss is just like whatever, sorry that the writers defiled your precious moment , i really don't care that much and it has nothing to do with being organic or not, its not like dan was there when that kiss happened and he needed for his own ego's sake for blair to do the same with him. third point is that the writers didn't make up the essay thing out of no where, they confirmed on their twitter that it was supposed to be in the first season but that because of the writing strike it didn't make it in the show.
but honestly i don't really understand why chair fans freak out thats its not organic that she forgave him for the video and letting her blame chuck and serena. while i do agree that it was kind of a dick move to excessively point the finger at chuck, he had good intentions when he sent it that blair believed and even if you don't think that it makes sense for her to forgive him, this is the show where shes forgiven chuck for trading her with a hotel and for sleeping with jenny, so its not really fair of you to believe her for forgiving chuck for that, but think its absurd that she would forgive dan for his one thing...
I'm not giving up on Chair and this is a Chair forum.
So if people are arguing that the writers have said D didn't do it to keep CB apart , and it has to be true if the writers say it. Why then when the writers said last year Chuck wasn't being abusive to Blair did these people refuse to see this as the truth ???
^^ because its not just the fact the writers said it. to me it's fairly obvious and was just contrived in chucks mind because he couldn't fathom the idea that blair was simply not in love with him anymore. But lets just look at what happened in the show, he brings blair to chuck in 5x10, he tries to get blair to tell her secret to everyone in 5x11, he calls serena to come to the police station in 5x12, and calls blair to come to the hospital in 5x16 so as far as i know dan has been doing nothing of the sort, but on the other hand, chuck couldn't control his anger so he punched a wall and physically hurt blair and regardless of what the writers say im pretty sure its still a form of physical abuse. Yet she forgave him for it, god knows why...
Chuck's punching the mirror was an act of violence and aggression. It may not have been directed at Blair, but she felt the affects of it anyway. It wasn't abuse, but it was far from a well-intentioned act. I fail to see how Chuck's punching a mirror right next to Blair's face and Dan's sending in a video can in any way compare.
