Thing is, for me, and that's my opinion, It's at least unlikely to build a relationship based on trust after the facts that happened on the show. By that, I mean not predictions about how future will be. But by Chuck's actions so far, how will they ever? I do like some of their scenes, like 4x08 scene, and 4x02, but what he did for her last year... It's just unforgivable for me.

That's a thin line to tread, imo and it's completely subjective too. You can say we're being judgmental, when really we're analysing the way that makes sense to us. In analysing characters you've got to be open to the fact that not everyone sees characters the same way. It doesn't make anyone judgey or holier than thou.

I completely agree. I think it's confirmation bias, people look for evidence to support what they already believe. We're all guilty of it in some sort so that's fine.

But IDGI when people judge U because you love certain things or call you "stupid" or "crazy". I'm not talking in this case but in this forum it happens quite a lot unfortunately. You like, what you like and view television the way you want to, shipping or not. No way is better than the other, it's just individual preferences.

Can Chuck and Blair be in a healthy, mature relationship after all that's happened? well i believe that chuck and blair were to immature to be in a relationship and downfall of that was their insecurities .I personally think they should get a long break from each other and grow as people then i think they would be perfect for each other.

I don't think that it's fair to blame the fall of their relationship on the fact that they were insecure. Everyone's insecure. Doesn't mean I'll use my significant other to get my hotel back from my evil uncle. For two people who plotted together regularly, it was sort of disappointing.

I personally think they should get a long break from each other and grow as people then i think they would be perfect for each other.

I'm not arguing with you there. They need space from each other. How long, I don't know. But this twisted thing has got to end.

I really get it. But you know I'm not one of those viewers that thinks the writers did the IP and then realized they went too far and decided to sweep it under the rug and focus on CJ instead. I've always felt the writers had a plan to address what drove Chuck to make the decision he made. They literally billed it as the WORST thing Chuck had ever done (by Blair's own words). So I that's pretty hard to defend him or try to rationalize it away since we don't have his POV (grrr). Jack & Elizabeth were really disgusting in the way they toyed around with Chuck's vulnerabilities and betrayed him. But that doesn't take away from the fact Chuck did something that very few people ever would.

I think everyone should agree with that, lol. But I definitely think they have a plan for them. While I don't necessarily like the way much of it has been executed so far I love the direction of that plan and what they want to do with them as individuals and as a couple. It's not just about CB being endgame either. Big deal that alone isn't satisfying enough for me.

I love that they are confronting head on some of Chuck's major issues since he's the big screw up in the relationship. And Blair is discovering where she wants to be in the world, figuring out what she really wants... I prefer to see CB together and interacting and I don't like 3rd parties that much, but I appreciate the longterm direction Savage seem to be going with CB's story in the second half.

Hopefully the individuals Sls will eventually bring them to a really good place. I have hope that Chuck confronts his demons and is redeemed. I've been waiting all season so I hope it happens, I will be very disappointed otherwise.

I love Chuck and Blair.

Everyone can agree that they leave anyone indifferent.

They are talked a lot by haters or lovers, that's why the writers must love writing for them.

And the IP will be deal again since Jack is coming back!!

Yes rinats right. And NO...... DS is not a prop for DB either.

to me, DS is looking like a prop atm. I mean, they build DS up all season, have Serena choose Dan, then they're jumping into Dair almost straight away...

tired. does that even make sense?

Gossip Girl Quotes

And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell ... You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl

[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you.
