I disagree. I've re-watched the episode a couple of times now - and, to me at least, nothing about that last scene feels forced or randomly put in. In fact, without it, the episode doesn't really have an ending. Even if you look at it from a basic point of view - Gossip Girl season finales always end on a song, and the song only starts playing on that scene.

Not only that, but something about the whole set up felt inevitable. Having a 3 week time jump rather than a one week one, which is what all the other seasons have had? The Chair sex? Let's be honest, they didn't have to have sex. They could've just kissed, and it would have been just as effective. (I'm not saying by this, btw, that the baby therefore has to be Blair's - just that why bother setting that up if the pregnancy test scene was never planned?)

And from the very beginning of the season - having Serena and Blair in two rooms next to each other, with a shared bathroom in between? A bathroom that they mention sharing a couple of times. You have to expect some kind of play on that, or why bother setting it up either?

I know the writers have a tendency to pull OMG moments out of nowhere - but you can't deny that, for the most part, GG season finales relate back to the rest of the season. There's always foreshadowing for at least something in the finale, and i don't think that's reading too much into it.

Both girls looked relaxed and happy with their respective vacation choices, so  . . . I don't see a hint of worry about an unwanted pregnancy there.

The scene was written in and filmed later. The actors didn't even know about it.

The acutally end was supposed to be Vanessa giving the book to that publishing guy. I am glad they changed it although it much suck for Jessica. I mean, four years and this was supposed her finale scene and they took that from her. Anyway, I'm glad they put it in.

Oh Ari, you're not just a waste of time to reply to but also a waste of space, sad little creature you. You're just mad I was right about the baby in the first place.

Ya know, I'm done discussing this until we are given new information... it doesn't matter whether it was a last minute scene or not because it is not about the past but the future.. it's about the possibilities the writers have in their hands and what they will do with it...

And the truth is the writers can relate that pregnancy test to anyone they want and then come up with some lame storyline to justify it... we all know it's the kinda thing they do..

The rules also apply to you, Stella.

Ausiello said it was Blair or Serena. Blair is the only possible option since Serena didn't have sex since 4X15.

Now it's Louis or Chuck's, But If it's Louis where is the DRAMA? there is not lol

The question is: Will Blair have a miscarriage? I think that's what gonna happen. I'm not really against this, Leighton could really kill this storyline.

Gossip Girl Quotes

And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell ... You know you love me. XOXO, Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl

Blair: Fashion is the most powerful art there is. It's movement, design and architecture all in one. It shows the world who we are and who we'd like to be. Just like your scarf suggests that you'd like to sell used cars.
Dan: Vanessa gave me this scarf.
