This show 'll succeed the losses. The last season   must be about MER as surgeon ,Mer and Der relationship ,Mer and Cri/Alex/Lexie ,the whole must around Mer centric ,but the point is the rating and no the viewers.Naturally i accept your opinion distinct from mine.

I could rename your title and say that when the ratings matter...the viewer matters. Just when people want to give up and give terrible reviews of the show, they drop the bone for something that most viewers want: the six originals.

That's how pathetic SR & Co. are.

I know that if GA isn't more in the past , we viewers that gulty have .Here" MEA CULPA " must do Shonda in primis ,i don't understand because she is persisted to does not give the public what they want to see, certarly i don't say  that you must a hour of this or a hour of that couple but that the whole shebang rotates about the protagonist. So this show is would call GA.The writers have their guilty ,they have done of the unbelievable forcings and you want that the public doesny criticizes your work, see that you are sending  to OLD HARRY THIS BEAUTIFUL SHOW.

i KNOW THAT THESE MINE WORDS ARE ALL thrown TO THE WIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes there are things on the show that I dislike, and that I wish the writers and Shonda had done differently. That doesn't mean, however, that I hate them, cuz without them, there'd be no greys. You might be able to replace them, but that doesn't mean the new ones would be any better. Anyway, what I dislike isn't always what others dislike as well! In order to please some viewers, others will always be let down. In order to keep up ratings, things will be done that will disappoint viewers. If something is done just for the viewers, the ratings could be negatively affected. (That might be a bad example because I'm not entirely sure how the ratings work, etc).

Basically, we're all entitled to our opinions, which is why a site like this is here. I'm just saying that it wouldn't hurt to take a pause once in a while and thank the writers for their hard work for giving us our beloved show. Yes some of us are disappointed in the way it's going. Some of us love it. But if it weren't for the hard work of many like Shonda Rhimes, there would be no Grey's Anatomy. We wouldn't be here discussing about how much we hate someone, or how much we still love this show.

I think the appropriate word is disappointment. SR & Co have build up so many potentially good stories and rarely delivers but makes a thousand excuses of why she didn't and in a way, tell us to suck up.

While she doesn't have to follow what the fans want everytime, she should at least take some into consideration because otherwise, how will she sell the show? The viewers matter when the ratings are down, which is when TPTB pimp out MerDer, Bailey, & Alex. The people that the majority want to see. It's the time to capture the viewers who don't watch live or who left the show. Notice the promos and then the actual ratings.

SR pulled this fantastic finale focused on M/D/C. The characters that people want to see. The originals front & center. Just a week before...ratings, not that good.

Yep. Shonda loves to pimp MerDer for ratings. Wedding, Mer being pregnant etc.. when we had nothing in return!

Like you said anuflas the finale was success because it was centered on the 3 characters that people love. Mer as the center of the show. Derek and Cristina.

Hi, I just wanted to write a message to the authors of GA:

I really like this show because the main original characters are humans, once in a while! They were "built" with deep personalities and, despite the many happenings in their lives (7 seasons), they remain faithful to themselves. Meredith is a troubled smart woman, Cristina is brilliant but arrogant, and they are both extremely cynical (which is why they are best friends). Derek is an idealist: most of the time he's nice, reliable, he stays positive, but he's too demanding and when disappointed becomes spiteful and depressed. Not to mention Alex! He's BAD! He always makes the wrong decisions when it comes to serious personal stuff! But he's also sweet and very nice sometimes. That's how real people are like: no bad or good people really exist. We are all humans. Humans cheat and aren't ashamed of it... Humans get pregnant and have abortions, sometimes twice... Humans make people they love suffer, just because "they're right"... Humans tend to repeat their mistakes no matter what...

Please please please!!! Don't let these 4 original characters become or do anything against their nature!!!

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
