I Absolutely love Grey's Anatomy.  But I have also loved other medical dramas over the years, from Denzel's St. Elsewhere to Scrubs.  What are some other Medical Dramas(or series in the case of scrubs) do you guys at TV Fanatics enjoy?

HawthoRNe right now is my favorite new drama on TV right now. I love Jada and I love medical drama, as you may have guessed lol, so the show is a win-win for me.

I work for a company that actually picked up the marketing for this series from TNT, which is how I became aware of it to begin with, but as the second season progresses (and despite the fact that I haven't seen the 1st personally) I find the characters really fun and compelling.

Anyone check this series out?

For the unitiated, find out more on TNT's website as well as some eps from this season:

I love scrubs too!

I was watching some reruns the other day, and there was an episode that Elliot said "I love grey´s anatomy! this is what our lives would be if we were on tv..." or something like that!

I used to LOVE ER. And I still watch it on reruns. Also House. But that's as far as medical dramas go for me.

I was a huge ER addict during the duration of that show.

I wish you would sign a name person who posted about HawthoRNe.  I really love that one too, a recent discovery.  It has some unrealisitc stuff with a nurse having as much power as Jada's character seems to, but the lovablity factor makes up for it.  I love that Sara Gilbert is on it, even if a smaller role.  I also love that an amputee is a nurse.  I'm not an amputee but I require a cane to walk and I love that once in a while on tv we get a handicapped person like House or Carrie on ER, or the medical examiner on CSI. :)

I also like "Mercy" with the PTSD and the cute girl from "Buffy" Michelle Trachtenberg, and the totally gorgeous black actress whose name I will learn but am too lazy to look up at this second.  I like the ethnicity of the Taylor Schilling character and her family.

Scrubs is hilarious but I don't think of it as that much of a medical show, a comedy with a medical context...

House is super unique and a keeper. Rock on cane users :)

I think I love Grey's best of all and it's hard to explain why.  I just love Merideth and I really, really miss George, and McDreamy is definitely dreamy-worthy, and all the cast and the story lines.  Christina rocks! Callie rocks!  Heck, they all rock, right?

Boston Medical is in its own category since it is real,  not fiction.  It's riveting, as the shows on Discovery Health Channel, the ones about the ER, the paramedics, and the Untold Storries of the ER.

I guess that's about all I can think of.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
