hey guys, idk if anyones posted this yet, but this is the sides and casting sides for part of the season 6 greys anatomy finale!:)
Ruby – 9 year old patient who has been in a bus accident. Ruby is in her hospital bed when Dr. Howard arrives and asks if her mom has already arrived. Dr. Howard tells Ruby her mom is on her way but they’re going to have to perform the surgery sooner than they thought. Ruby is terrified and begins to cry because she wants to wait for her mom. Dr. H says he/she would be scared too if he/she had been in a bus accident, those are things to be scared of but this surgery which Dr. H is awesome at isn’t something to be scared of. Ruby calms down and asks if her mom will be there by the time she wakes up. Dr. H answers that he/she is almost sure her mom will be there and if she isn’t Dr. H will.Ken and Lois – Ruby’s parents: Ruby waits with her parents as Dr. Howard enters her room followed by intern Steve. Dr. H tells them the appendix will have to be removed. Lois asks if Ruby needs surgery and Dr. H says yes but the good news is that this is the easiest surgery in the world and even a baby surgeon like Steve could do it. Steve lights up. Lois asks Dr.H if he/she is going to let Steve perform the surgery to which Dr. H responds of course not and that after the surgery Ruby won’t be in any more pain. Ruby smiles and the parents look less nervous than they were before.
Nurse Vivian – working at the desk, looks up to see a patient shuffling out the door with an IV pole trailing behind. She calls out to the patient that he can’t leave the area but he doesn’t stop. She gets up and goes after him.
Pete – 30s, bloody and barely conscious. Doctors are working furiously on him. He’s telling the doctors that he was driving and got rear-ended by some guy. He stopped the car, got out, starting walking toward the guy’s car and got stabbed. Pete’s blood pressure drops and he loses consciousness.
Shelley – 30s, Dr. Howard walks with a frantic Shelley in the ER. She’s asking if Pete’s dead and Dr. H says no but the cocaine really did a number on his system. Shelley says she was told he had been in a car accident and asks if Pete’s been doing drugs. Dr. H pulls back a curtain to reveal the doctors furiously working on Pete. Shelley lunges toward him, Dr. H holds her back and tells her they are doing everything they can and that Pete is going up to surgery. Shelley wants to say good-bye but a nurse leads her away and Shelley fights her off. Shelley says they’re going to take him to surgery and he’s her husband so to let her say good-bye. Dr.H relents and they make room for Shelley. As she’s telling Pete she loves him and to not die, he begins seizing. She asks what’s happening and Dr. H says she really needs to step outside, a nurse leads her out.
Officer Marty –40s. Barricades are being put in place outside the entrance to an apartment building. There are cops everywhere and Dr. Howard watches it all unimpressed, she is too tired and it is too late for her to deal with this. She approaches Officer Marty and asks if it’s Jake again on the roof threatening to jump. Officer Marty is asking her to stand back and she yells toward the roof “Three times is too many, Jeff! Crap or get off the pot!” Marty is not amused and tells Dr. H that there is a man on the roof and he has indeed threatened to jump but he needs Dr. H to stand back. Dr. H starts walking towards the entrance but Marty steps in front of her and says no one is going in or coming out of the building. Dr.H is exhausted and on the verge of tears. She tells Marty she lives there, it’s almost 1 in the morning, she’s been on shift for the past 18 hours and just really wants to sleep. She pleads with Marty and he softens, tells her his are going to take care of this and then she can go inside but she needs to do him a favor and stand back. Dr. H says okay.
Waitress – Dr. Howard sits at the counter inside a coffee shop disgustedly digging through scrambled eggs. She pushes the plate aside and the waitress comes over to refill her coffee. The waitress jokes that she should’ve warned Dr. H that those eggs aren’t the sort of thing you eat on an empty stomach or ever. Dr. H says at least the coffee is terrible and the waitress answers there’s always more where that came from. They share a smile.
Update on Apr 5 – Revision (thanks to Windsprints on TWoP):
They revised the side for Officer Marty. At one point she’s exhausted and on the verge of tears, says her bed is calling her in a little pillowy voice and when she tells Marty “what if I distract you?” she points out a restored vintage car.
Officer 1 – It’s nighttime, firemen and paramedics swarm the burning apartment building. A ground floor window shatters catching Officer 1’s attention, he rushes over and from the inside Walter clears the broken glass from the frame and helps a small child through the window. Officer 1 lends a hand getting the child out and Walter tells the officer to be careful, the child has burns on her legs but she’s mostly scared. The officer turns to take the child to the paramedics and realizes Walter isn’t following. Walter tells the officer there are people still inside, the officer says they will get them out but Walter needs to come with him. Without giving it anymore thought Walter disappears from the window and goes back into the blaze. The officer calls out to him that he needs to stop and to come back.
Officer 2 – It’s nighttime, and several frightened students are huddled in the back of a bus. Through the bus windows we can see dozens of cars have been flipped, smashed and are on fire. The doors at the front of the bus open and Officer 2 steps onto the bus. He spots the students and tells them a path has been cleared and they are going to be evacuated and to follow him. The students are relieved and follow Officer 2.
i got these from greysgabble, all the credit goes to the posters there:)
what do you think is happening?:)
Im more intrigued about the story with officer Marty. I think the one who is desperately looking for to sleep is Cristina or Arizona. Omg I can't wait!
Crystelle at TWoP added this
Officer 4 – Firemen work to extinguish the last of the flames as smoke pours out from the burnt-out shell of the building. Officer 4 talks to a worried Dr. Howard. Dr. H is sure she was supposed to be home tonight and hasn’t been able to get her on the phone. Officer 4 flips through his list and asks Dr. H what is the name again.
Any news about Bill and Mary, they are husband and wife, Bill and Mary are played by Ryan Devlin and Mandy Moore, Mary will be a patient of Miranda Bailey. Has there been any sides about these characters?
So the SGH apartment building is burning down? Where are these people going to live? Maybe Meredith should just turn her house into a hotel...
So far, nothing to be excited about. :/
Well none of that happened in the finale. Ruby was a patient, no bus accident, but she does need her appendix taken out, and the intern was Lexie not Steve. Nurse Vivian was shot, no patient shuffling out. Pete was in a rear-ender and got out of his car but got shot not stabbed. The waitress was with Dr Webber in the coffee shop, she makes reference to Webber's AA chip. Shelley is Pete's wife and the Doctor's were Teddy Altman and Owen Hunt, the nurse was Tyler. Dr Webber approaches Officer Marty there was no jumper, there was a shooter lose in the hospital and SWAT is on the way.
