You probably think the people on Maury and Jerry Springer are fascinating as well, because that's how trailer trash DE is.I had no problem with their escapades in S1(after all I had no problem with Logan/Veronica even though some people felt it was too "dysfunctionally unstable" too) because it added dysfunctionality to it and S1 Elena could be someone who would forgive it.
S2 Elena and Damon character retcons simply do not allow me to ship it anymore, ever
