I might get attacked for saying this, but I could care less because it needs to be said. The ONLY people who liked that finale, and still like this show are "Fangirls". Seriously, how many of these posts have been about theses poorly written teen angst romances (Delena, Stelena, Bonnie & Jeremy, Klaroline)? Honestly, if you liked that season finale then it's because you have very low expectations for quality television.
If I read one more post about the "Delena" moment I might have to punch a hole in the wall. Oh you mean that poorly acted (Ian's eyes can't stay still), and entirely predictable scene where we aren't even entirely sure if that was really Elena or Silas? The entire Damon and Elena romance has been poorly written this season because we aren't sure what Elena was really feeling due to the sire bond.
The worst part about this finale, and this show as a whole, is that it had potential but didn't realize it. Instead of the redundant teen romances why not focus on something that would have been fresh? Plec actually writes Kol into the finale, but instead of re-uniting him with Klaus she sends him on a pointless tirade against Elena and sends Klaus to see Caroline for her graduation to placate "Klaroline" fans? WTF?
Okay, sorry my rant is over now.
Sorry to burst your bubble of being omniscience and professional TV criticism, but to my knowledge, no one here seriously likes this show.
I think the whole point of the finale was to set up for the spin-off and the new season. It was a little anti-climactic, but TVD isn't an unpredictable show. After all the negative publicity about the new show and TVD's own ability to sustain without the Originals it makes sense that they'll give people a reason to watch next season. I.e.: Stefan drama, DE together (which is a large fanbase), KC sort of goodbye scene, and they even left Forwood open for a return. Its a show based on shipping so I'm not surprised that certain fandoms liked it.
But yes, if it were a show based strictly on the paranormal rather than the ships, then the breakdown of the episode would've been different and maybe better.
Lol, ITA with that whole post. Also I don't think Elena confessing to Damon was Silas but, I'd lmfao if it was
@ OP. Get in line with TVD hate. This show lost its umph about 2 seasons back. This last episode was really a graduation of sorts, personally atleast, because its the last epi i'll ever watch of this crap. Can i get an amen my brothers and sisters....
I still dont get why steffy is a doppelgangadick like Ms. Golden Vagina 3.0
This show is ridiculous! They already tried doing a bad Stephen last seaon and now there doing it again! And I immediately thought of Angel when he got locked in a coffin and put into the water! Lol
I'll bet you any money that what i called from wayyyy back at the end of season 2 will apply here. Steffy will have a different mother than Damon. That mom will be a direct descendent of Silas, just like Elena to Kat. Same old gravy, just different pot. We all know how they like to reboot old storylines for dif characters.
