    Me too (hate Serena that is). I just thought the writers were very stereotipical in making the smartest guy on the show with the most self resppect when the series started out (Dan) throw it all away REPEATEDLY and morph into the very same shady asshole that he kept saying that they all were....all because of the DUMBEST/HOTTEST girl on the show. Why do you make the smart self respecting dork throw his life away for the dumb, self absorbed blond? Loved Derena but hated the stereotype hypocricy!

    A bit irrelevant... BUT one of the reasons I hate Elena is because of her attitude towards John ...ok ..I get it  he wasn't exactly a role model but he was her father,he died in order to keep her human ..only to become a vampire to the next season ... and when they were lightening those stupid candles for those that they have lost she didn't even bother to say his name;WHAT A BITCH...
