Abusing Elena!

Her not wanting to be a vamp makes no sense. I feel like they just wanted everyone to think that their main character was different from Bella Swan....but in this case i actually prefer Bella. At least she's decisive in her choice and knows her VERY STRONG reasons for wanting to turn. What sense does it make to have the love of your life stuck at 17 and you aging by the day when you have the power to change that? How is that a good choice? Especially after losing almost everyone thats human in her life. The bitch has more supernatural friends and love interests than human ones so who the hell is she trying to convince exactly?

GRRR, this layout ate my wall of text AGAIN.
Gurl,J.P fucked her characeter looong before that.In s2 to be precise when she decided to give her suicidal tendencies and a god complex.Suicidal tendencies were GOOD as far as writing goes, as long as they were treated as something messed up. Elena, a survivor of such a car wreck, having a death wish as part of her ptsd fits perfectly to previous, good, s1 characterization of her.
The problem is that the show, mid s2 suddenly went from "Girl has issues" to "omg that's so sweet and caring of her!"

Hate is a strong word i dont hate Elena but female character wise, she is the weakest link! She hooks up with Stefan while eye sexing his brother throughout season 2 and 3. She hooks up with the brother after witnessing him snap her brother neck, bite and kill her best friend and use her other friend as a chew toy until he was done with her, then tried to kill her too. I am amazed that she still have friends!
I like Nina though she seems to know that Elena is not the best when it comes to friendship!

Maybe so but unfortunately at the end,she just turned out to be worse than Bella,atleast no one died trying to save her,but in TVD people die left and right just to save Elena ass all the time,without getting even an ounce of gratitude from this bitch.and tbh i never got Bella's reasons either,then again maybe its because i never really understood Bella and Edwards love either,she seemed to be awestruck by his beauty and he was simply obsessed with her and her blood.

This is what i meant basically,if they had tried to potray her suicidal tendencies as a result of ptsd,that would have been acceptable but no.they tried to cover it up by turing her into mother teresa.

I didn't hate Elena that much in s2, tbh....I only started hating her in becos she kept on saying "its all mah fault and I will not let anything happen to you" cos the moment she said those words it was like a death sentence for someone....in s2 I still felt like she meant it when she was sorry about something....s3 it became like a ritual for her and wanted to kill hher.....s4 needs no comment.
