Anyone live near any film sets?

   Just wondering out of interest:)

   I live very close to where they film Harry Potter in Scotland. Basically every scene on the train, the views outside the window are all around where I live. Oh and where Hagrid's Hut was filmed. Also some of Braveheart was filmed not too far away. If I want to go shopping to a city I have to go past these places all the time :D

    

   Would love to see if anyone else lives next to film sets!!

   unfortunately, small town canada isn't home to any sets.

   i think elijah's hottie lives near atlanta where tvd is filmed. you guys are all so lucky.

   @grilledcheese maybe  a small town in canada isn't home to any sets, but i live in a small town in greece. that is like a million times worse. noone comes to greece.

   @stavroula only some movie productions (e.g. Mamma Mia) film on the greek islands once in a blue moon, and even then I miss it :P

   a few years ago a greek tv show filmed in my town (to "Mh Mou Les Antio" an 8umasai) but still the only time I saw the production in action was when they shot a scene outside my high school.

   @prom_queen some movie productions film on the islands but it's very difficult to go there. it's a long way and a lot of money!

   and sometimes we may run into a celebrity, especially in Athens, but greek celebs are nothing like the ones in hollywood. hollywood is like  a whole other level. i mean who can you compare Ian with? noone!

   of course there's no comparison between greek and hollywood stars - I remember the first time I went to a Placebo concert. I was excited even months after that because I had seen a foreign star (although they're in the music business but still).

   I think I'll make a fool of myself if I ever run into a TVD actor/actress...

   Me too. I'd like to go to L.A. there you have a chance to see celebrities! There are sometimes movie premieres here in Germany, but it's hard to get there...

    @ stavroula, trust me, Canada is pretty uneventful. But isn't Greece gorgeous? Or a lot of it...

    Oh, and Greek guys are delicious ;)
