You know what was really funny? In the masquerade episode when matt was compelled to start a fight with Tyler. He pours his drink all over Tyler fathers picture. Remember when he used to slap you around and he smacks him! Lol its so funny watching matt be bad that a couldn't take him seriously! However, even i must say that if Matt grows a pair and starts acting out a little bit more, it would do him a world of good. I'm not saying he should be all bdass misunderstood teenager or to turn him into a vamp, but if his character could be a little angrier and less understanding, he could be a major success. HOWEVER, for the continued survival of this thread I kinda hope he stays a duuche.

i used to like Matt, sorry Cardboard, at the start of season 1, when Vicki was in because he was useful then. now he has to be the most boring, pointless character in the entire first two seasons of this show. i dread him coming on screen, even for a couple of minutes because he's so boring, its seems like he's been talking for a couple of hours. we should just put all our money together, pay off his bills, and buy him a flat/apartment far away from Mystic Falls.

I can't imagine how much of a snoozefest his relationship was with Elena. Caroline had no chance because he likes his girls as bland and unpredictable as he is.

That's what happens when you get two people together who hate a character as much as Mrs. Niklaus and I do. I started calling him Cardboard weeks ago and Mrs. Niklaus added the finishing touch, which might I add is fantastic, by attaching Captain to it.
It fits him perfectly. ;)

When I saw that scene, I literally laughed. It was so damn amusing and out of character for him. Tyler looked at him like he'd grown a second head. LOL

that's how weak Matt is, he needs to be compelled or intoxicated to have a personality. lol About his taste in girls, definitely that's why he judges Caroline too much because she makes him feel more useless.

I love Caroline, she doesn't deserve a good for nothing bill whining broke ass motherf*cker like Matt. She deserves a matured prince like Tyler.

Remember early on when captain cardboard started to see Caroline and he told Elena it was nothing because he thought he had a chance to get back with Elena because she just broke up with Stefan.
