    I love Damon! I mean in Twilight you know that Bella is gonna end up with Edward no matter what! But in the Vampire Diaries anything can happen! she could end up with Damon or Stefan!

    I agree with Paul Wesley being way hotter than rob pattinson!!! and i think Ian Somerhalder is beautiful as well!!! Both of them are the perfect characters for the "vampire role"!!!!!!!! I love Twilight, only because i read the books before the the show came out, but im thinking vampire diaries is my new love!! Its kind of like getting a dose of twilight everyweek!!!! I really want to read the books! Im sure they are awesome!!

    Please don't stone me......I am the biggest Twilight fan....but I think Paul Wesley plays the vamp role ten times better then Rob P. - I think that Paul should have played Edward. Plus Paul is hotter then Rob.

    i like twilight and all but VB is jst.. idk i like it way more. i recently watched new moon and was like .... no no no edward is not tht cute after seeing stephen lol  ... oh and damon!

    Well they are making the argument that Vampire Diaries was written before Twilight and the BOOK is nothing like Twilight. The SHOW however does not fallow the book in the slightest way! They are basically two utterly different things. The SHOW whether they admit it or not IS ripping off Twilight AND True Blood in MANY ways! Like when Stefan says "I have been 17 since" blah blah is Twilight and "What Are You??" Is TrueBlood. Those are only a few things.

    My thoughts on the matter are simple:

    Twilight is High School Muscial with Vampires and Shapeshifters. Great for middle school girls and their moms, who want to squee at one dimensional characters like Rob Pattison and the kid who was Sharkboy. 

    Vampire Diaries is for those for those of us who like the REAL stuff: sex, violence and death. It's for everyone who likes a show that is not afraid to kill actual characters and put relationships in jeopardy. A show that deals with substance abuse and dysfunctional familes. The characters are so much more complex and in my opinion much better looking. Kevin Williamson is doing an amazing job. I for one, will be re-watching all ten episodes during the marathon.

    If you know anything about the supernatural, you'd know that VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE in the sunlight THEY BURN!!!

    What about the sceane where Elena tells Stefan that she can be with him? That was really close to the break up sceane from New Moon.
