Damon being human.

When I found out that in the books, Damon ends up being human, well I hated that idea. I wanted him to die before becoming human again. I thought that Damon was too awesome to be human. And that I'd rather he died and have the memory of him being badass then him becoming human again and constantly comparing him to vampire Damon.
But after watching him say "I'm not human and I miss it. I miss it more then anything in the world. That is my secret", I have to say that I hope he ends up turning human, and that he finds a wonderful girl and gets married and has a bunch of kids. I know this may sound cheesy and boring, and we know Damon's not that, but I want this for him. He deserves it, he's been through so much, he's been hurt so many times, just like he said "But there's only so much hurt a man can take." I want him to be happy. And I think that it would be a perfect happy ending for Damon. I hope the show does go down this road. I would miss so much badass Damon, but I love to see him happy.
It's funny how emotionally attached one can get to just a character.

I haven't read the books but I'm guessing that if he turns human in the end, he'll die saving Elena, who will live happily ever after with Stefan.
I want Damon to be trully happy, but he's a tragic hero and tragic heroes usually go down a tragic road.

NO!NO!NO! I know he misses it and i feel for but i want him to stay a vampire..... and adopt a puppy :D

I read the books, and in the books. I was so angry when he turned human. But the books are so diffrent. He turned human by accedent. Stefan had a plant, that is you took a big smell. it would turn you, and Damon was curious. So...He took a smell. and BAM human. I found that whole part kind of stupid, but I'm not one to judge. anyways, in the book Damon is really angry about turning. And Stefan is angry because that was his chance to be with elena for ever. But I am pretty sure thats not how the book ends. I think there is one more book, because there are alot of un-answered questions. Like, Damon and Elena spent a night together, but Damon does not remeber and Elena wont tell him. So, yeah...But your probabily do not care because you did not read the books. LOL.
I will stop now!

I agree that I'd eventually like to see Damon turn human. I don't want that anytime soon though cause I think there's still so much story to tell of Damon being a vampire but I wanna see it eventually. I think Damon deserves happiness and after this episode and him being as vulnerable as he was, I wanna see him happy. I'd definitely like to see how a human Damon would be like. Although I think if that happens, his build up while being a vampire is what will tell us what kind of human he is.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In which book does that happen??? And what do you mean about spent the night together???? Did they spend it in a boring Edward-Bella kind of way (sleeping and talking) or did they do the nasty!!!! Please tell me it was the nasty!!!! And please tell me there were details!!!!! I need details!!!!!!!!!

damon a hero umm not!!!!!!!!when was he ever a hero with out the reason elena?
When he saved his brother from the tomb vamps in 1x17, he did that more for his brother then for Elena.

I don't know it was really confusing. they were on a road trip, and it was getting really rainy. so they decided to get a room, in a motel. Damon was ignoring Elena the whole trip, because he does not wan't to be in love with someone who does not love him back/ So he was trying to hold back. So Elena was like "Damon...tell me what is wronge" and he was just turning away from her, and stuff, and she kept asking him. So then he was just like "Run...elena, Just run" and she stayed. And then the last line was like "And then he folded himself around her, and she fell into the depths of his black eyes" Well something like that...
So I was freaking out, of coarse. HUGE Delena fan, but Damon had this thing in him that can take away his memories, I know it sounds weird but you would have to read the books to understand. So in the morning Damon was like "What happened last night" and Elena is like "Thats my secret to keep"

Okay its really confusing. But I will try my best. Okay, Damon and Elena are on a roadtrip to save stefan, and its really Rainy, so they pull aside and get a room in a motel.
