DELENA EVERYTIME
Even though i really want to see them hook up i really don't want that to start in this season. The foreplay is so good to watch, plus if they get together now then they wont be together for very long (theyve picked up for like 5 seasons no?).
I honestly have no idea how theyre going to get them together or where that is going, because where can it go? If they get together as the cliff hanger in the finale then theyll come back from vacation in Italy and then what? Then again im not sure how long the writers can draw it out without people losing interest (not that that would ever happen, i mean have you seen him? heard his lines?). They really have my stumped. And im not sure if im enjoying it. Although its a nice change, usually i can predict whats gonna happen. Now only time will tell.

Damon...because he's hot, funny, mean but at the same time good for some people...he's just awesome lol I like Stefan too, but not nearly as much as Damon.

I totally see the chemistry between Elena and Damon but I see them as a temporary fling, not even close to having the possibility of being an EPIC romance like Chair.
Elena and Stefan are endgame for sure! They're right for eachother and compliment eachother...but that's boring so Salvatore brother #1 is going to be needed to spice things up!

Team Damon and DELENA!
I like Stefan too but I'd rather see Stefan with Bonnie.
I am a sucker for redemption stories. Not that I want Damon totally redeemed but I love that Elena brings out the humanity in him. Deep down our Damon is a lonely soul and if they follow through with his history that was explained in the books, he was also pretty unloved. So the fact that Elena can bring out a good side in him and at the same time has someone she can trust wholeheartedly, someone unlike Stefan who never lies to her, add the amazing chemistry damon and elena have and you have an irrestible love story. I love the pace that they are developing damon and elena, it has foundation and depth.

After reading the rest of the posts, I have to confess that I too am a chair fan LOL. And yes like Chair so are Delena. Undeniably EPIC, they have the chemistry that it takes to be epic and no other couple on the show can claim that imo.

hmm well in some interview they said that stefan and elena are soulmates and "endgame" kind of..but i think things can change especially with the number of delena fans increasing rapidly! stefan and bonnie would be boring imo..bonnie needs ahot wizard and no draco malfoy wont do! haha

Yeah, I think the producers have an idea in their heads when they start the show but based on the audience reaction they need to change it sometimes.
Sometimes it just comes down to the on screen chemistry between the actors. And sometimes identifies with certain characters more.
Just for an example on GG, they didn't know how large the Chuck & Blair fanbase was going to become. At the beginning the main couples were Dan & Serena and Nate & Blair.
So things can definitely change.
