I never doubted him not being involved in the spinoff for a second! It was Elijah's character/appearance in s2 which lead the writers onto the original stuff! Would be so pointless without him!

matt is too poor for college and his whore of a mum will also hinder his application in the character ref dept.
Oh please lets not even get into the economy of things on this show as they are all "secret millionaires" at this point - plus Matt is the only one working at the Grill, so I am sure by now he has saved up for "college"....LOL, these kids should not get in anywhere just based on their academic record and poot school attendance....when was the last time they were in class even.
