    I also suspect something : I think that while she was on the other side, Esther could talk to Mikael (Mikael died because of Klaus) and she knew that klaus killed him. I think she willingly wanted to put Mikael on the page to bring him back to life. How? I don't know it yet but I think this is her ultimate purpose. With Elena's blood drank by Elijah (while Mikael's name was on the page), and Mikael's name on it, I think this is why Mikael's name is in it. Mikael is the one who can kill Klaus, just like Esther (remember when she said to Elena about killing Klaus "It will take time and your assistance").

    And other thing : Julie Plec said something like this "at the end of the season, some characters will face their maker" Esther casted the spell 1000 years ago but Mikael was their true creator, he killed them, turning them into vampires.

    I know my theory could be odd, but remember that Jeremy came back to life, Vicki was close to come back to the real world if Elena died and Bonnie "died" and came back to life. So, I think it's possible.

    Mikael had a stake that could kill Klaus. Since that stake burn with Mikael then there is no way that Mikael could kill Klaus.

    Actually Micheal told Damon that there was more ashes from the tree that the wooden stake was made. Damon said I suppose your not going to tell me where that is.
