Fuck this shit, because I do like Alaric!!!

Jeremy being "head of the house" have nothing to do with him being male. He is smarter, stronger and more cabaple than Elena(at basically everything, probably except stuff like making out with Stefan, and cheerleading). From an objective point of view, it is rational if he became the "man in the house". If Elena had what Jeremy had, then ofcause it would be her. But because this show have crappy writing, that just ain't how it roll.
And splitting humans into males and females is NOT sexism. If the gender have some sort of part in major or minor things then yes, but in an example where males and females physical strength is compared, is not sexism. If it is actually considered sexism, people should lighten the fuck up-.-'.
In Denmark, a yea or two back, a law propotial was issued, in which the public work sector, would be required by law, to have 40% women in the administration of the work place. Would you then consider this massive sexism? A male applicant could have much more experience and a much better CV, but this would not matter, because he ain't no female.
In Copenhagen univercity in Denmark, a male lector(an extremly qualified lector, much more qualified than any other applicants) got turned down, because the univercity got extra funds for hiring a female in that slot. Is this then also sexism? Goverment issued sexism?
While ofcause there probably are A LOT more women who get turned down because of their gender, in issues where roles are reversed also considered sexism?
While i totally agree than the female character of this show is "victim" of sexism, would we, on this forum, even have noticed it if the roles were reversed? If Damon, Stefan, Klaus, Elijah, Jeremy, Tyler and whoever, got all the crap that the female characters have, would we point it out as sexism? because i ain't sure. And it's not like the males on this show is glorified the slightest either. The two main protagonist are raging loonies, who cry a lot, kill people that friends/family care about, rape friends/family, and so on not also a result of the same? While i must agree, it is not on the same level as it is towards the female characters, but i would be deeply ashamed as a male, if that is how males acted in the real world(assuming we compare this to real world)
Take Xander from BtVS. While i don't wanna be like him(still thinks he is awesome) he is a great guy, by all the meanings(i would guess, never actually made that 1k kilometer long list) of the word that women and men put into it.
While it is obvious that TVD has a case of misogyni fever going on in the writer and producers room, they are certainly NOT promoting the men of the show in anyway.
Not saying that the people (male or female) necesarily have to be great dudes/dudettes to not be "victim" of sexism, but there ain't even a single interesting, deep or good guy in the series. The female characters storyline are basically all an undermining of females. The male storyline are not. But males are potrayed in this show as batshit psychoes, who cries alot, rape girls, kills a lot. The only guy in the show worth sorta looking up to, would be Tyler.
Sorry for the rant, but got kinda caught up in it, hope i made a bit of sense(i am tried as hell and my eyes are going in circles causing my screen to like shake)
