Lets's see he's annoying and cheesy and a liar.ugh. Have you noticed he never tells Elena anything unless when she bring it up and he's all like "I want you to hear the truth from" Well Stefan why don't you just tell her BEFORE she finds out herself.
Has Damon ever made Stefan guilty for turnign him???? NO!! But look at the way he made Damon feel guilty for killing Lexi...i know Damon killed Lexi and all but Stefan needs to think about his actions before he starts regarding himself as the good brother.
I hate the way he makes Elena soooooooooo dull, seriously the girl tries effort to make a joke and all he does is look at her with his broody face no wonder all they do is make out.ugh.
IF THIS WAS REAL LIFE I'D CHOOSE DAMON ANYTIME ANYDAY!!!!! Am all for the struggle not the broody.
The writers should get him a storyline that doesn't revolve around Elena!!!

In the real life, Stefan would be the perfect boyfriend, we all agree. But this is a tv show, we want some more action, some bad guys to die for,
I agree... IRL, we would all die to have Stefan as our boyfriend. Damon would be a straight up psycho if he were a real man. (So would Stefan technically, but Damon would be a maniac!)
and face it, Damon is a lot hotter than Stefan...
There's nothing to face there... people have different tastes in men so it's stupid to make that conclusion. You don't always agree when someone is awarded 'sexiest man of...', do you?
Stelena is boring, nothing happens.
It's called a relationship. Taking away all the vampirism and such and this is what tradtional relationships look like. It might seem boring but fact is that they love each other and do not find each other boring.
I somehow come to think that loads of people in this forum never had a boyfriend, since they call Stelena boring.

it's not that i don't like stefan i just don't like him as much as i like the others and by the others i mean damon, tyler, alaric, jeremy.... well everyone else. i like him a lot more now than i did in season 1 but again he will never be my favourite character.

By the way I understand that not aeverybody can like him, but @ pink: he's not a liar, the guy is on this planet a 165 years. You can't tell everyting that you have done or that has happend to you inmediatly. He just tells her a little bit every time. And i'm sure damon never told elena everything he has done over the years or everybody he has killed, because if he would he propably would be talking for months :)

They haven't really given us the chance to see who's the better boyfriend, cause everyone chooses Stefan over Damon....Damon hasn't had a relationship like Stefan's....Damon's more into the compelled relationships haha
I think that may be on of the reason's people don't like Stefan...cause it's always Stefan and never Damon!!!!
I love Stefan, I just love Damon a lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot lot more!!!!!!!!!!!! For me it will always be Damon!!!! The only one that comes close for me to love him more then Damon is Elijah....but not even Elijah will be that lucky for me to love him more!!!! haha

Stefan is sometimes awesome (more so in season 2) but most of the time he's BLAH. Him and Elena brood too much for me not to roll my eyes.
