     well, Avatar: The Last Airbender is more about character development. Legend Of Korra is cool too but it was supposed to be a short series, so yeah.

     Didn't realise it has an adult following

     This is the show in which a young airbender (aca Avatar) flees and gets frozen for 100 years, only to find out the Fire Nation killed his ENTIRE race and that he's literally the only airbender on earth and being directly responsible for it.

     also, fight scenes

        

     what i also love is that the different bending types (water, air, fire and earth) are all "inspired" by different fight technique. and, if i remember correctly, each kingdom is inspired by a real one. Like, at some point, the earth kingdom was inspired by China.

     My dad, sister and brother are all ATLA stans. They love the shit out of it and I had to watch them all rage in the living room about the movie. I always admired ATLAs animation, and story. I just didn't take the time to watch it but when I did, I fapped to Zuko.
