    I used to love Elijah and hate Klaus. Now I stan for Klaus and Elijah is meh to me. He needs to be badass again.

    3.03 is likely where I got into Klaus, because I loved his chemistry with Rebekah and Stefan.

    Daniel/Elijah is overrated. This is coming from someone who loves Elijah and would snap if he got killed off. But he was a bit disappointing in s3, not to say that other character's weren't. When Elijah turned into nothing but Mister Negotiation, I got bored with him. I also find it odd, that he was so bent on getting his family back, but by the time they were all together again, he left town alone.

     

    Perfect post. Elijah was at his best in S2, mostly mid-S2 when he was all "You think you can beat me? You can't"

    The Church of Elena Elijah is just plain,.,boring.

    Klaus was at his best when he was Alaric (truly threatening and malevolent) and a bit worse but still great till end of S2. 

    Then come S3 and he is a lost puppy. ewww.

    The thing with Elijah is that he had good enough reason to just torture or threaten the gang into giving him Klaus's body, but instead he just politely asks to be invited in and makes a deal with them. I get that he's the moral Original but his "morality" overtook his character to where that was all we ever got to see of him, and it lessened any chance of him being badass anymore, along with the "elenaism"

    I started liking Klaus when he gave Stefan his blood and was heartbroken over his failed hybrid plans. I fell in love with Klaus in 3x11 when he made his speech to Caroline. I was like OMG THE CHEMISTRY.

     

     

    Then come S3 and he is a lost puppy. ewww. 

      Whatever, he was awesome. Klaus showed more depth and dimension in S3. I will love Klaus no matter what.

      This. He was fucking badass ripping hearts left and right. Then he suddenly became the moral brother, protecting Elena and being all compassionate. Eww.

    @flora, like I said, people's taste differs, but you're right, looks are irrelevant and have nothing to do with why klaroline is ewww. I hate the overload of forwood sex scenes as well, this relationship has gone south in that respect, but bottom line, forwood has had better development and progression than klaroline will ever have. The SL is farfetched the way they handled it and no amount of playful banter and chemistry between the actors can make it feel right/natural. The actors are decent, although I agree that Joseph is a bit better.
