     For God’s sake, they’d only been broken up for a week.

     Klaus tried to ignore the bags underneath Caroline’s eyes. The tired way she moved about the room and the way she sighed every four seconds. He didn’t want to notice her unkempt appearance or the way Vincent kept reaching out to grab her forearm, checking if she was okay.

     Klaus swallowed hard and fought the wave of tears that so desperately wished to fall from his eyes and slide down his cheeks.

     He was empty without Caroline.

     Vincent is a friend she's talking to and Klaus thought he was her new boyfriend so he was jealous. She does look annoyed but she's always like that with Klaus. I love how haters use that to explain why KC can't happen. Elena acted annoyed around Damon a lot, too. Didn't stop 95% of fandom to ship DE.
