MEREDITH TO BE IN SEASON 2!

Okay so if any of you have read Vamp. Diaries, you know who Meredith is. For those of you who don't , Meredith is one of Elena's best friends but they did not put her into the show...until now!
I was looking on a website and it lists all of the characters for the next 22 episodes in season 2 (but alas, it does not tell us the plot of each episode) and low and behold, Meredith's name is in the first episode of season 2! So, we know that for at least one episode she'll be with us!

I like Jenna so I am going to be sad if something happens to her. Especially since Jeremy and Elena already lost their parents.
But by bringing Meredith in, I am glad they are staying true to the books and as long as it means Alaric stays around for a while, I am all for it. ;-)

LOL Yeah I can't see them hooking them up yet. At least not if they put Meredith in as a high school student. LOL
Maybe they will make her a college student.

I read she will be played by Katie Cassidy (the blonde girl from Melrose Place) but I don't know if it's true

I am so glad that Katie Cassidy is going to playing Meredith. I hope she becomes one of the main cast.

I only read the first book and like 30 pages of the second book...but I got so bloody bored I couldn't read anymore! The show trumps all over the books. I wish I'd read them before the show came out though so I wasn't comparing them the whole time.
