Or Justin Bieber beating JoMo for best villain award rofl trolololol. The boy didnt have any acting training whatsoever and Jomo even taught drama before he went big.
OMG, I remember that "epic" win...well, that says it all, its all about popularity not talent. I mean, if we have come to this, that Lindsay Lohan is going to play Liz Taylor....I don't understand anything anymore.
The facial expression that Nina Delivers does not suffice. When you act, you have to give your all of your emotions to every scene. Acting is an exaggeration of human emotions and we consiider this as a form of entertainment. In order for an actor to give life to a script, the actor should show how much the actor will give out to give life to the scene and it actually reflects on their facial expression about how much heart they give to the scene. The more heart they give, the better performance that the actor gives.
Sadly, THIS. I mean, I know I said before I don't mind Nina as Elena or Katherine, but to say that I enjoy her acting...nope, especially this season, I really want to know what the director tells her before they start shooting a scene, because sometimes it feels like they don't really rehearse before the shoot to actually see what emotions to show or how to show them...or maybe its just the bad script...anyway, even so, as an actor no matter what script you get, you have to "sell" it to the audience, and a frown or watery eyes are not enough.

I think you guys are being a bit harsh to Nina's acting skills and your hatred for Elena's character may be fuel to the fire. I agree Ginnifer deserves the award, but this is the TCA's and most teens don't watch OUAT. I think Nina is the best from the actors left in th category, she definitely has talent, in fact, I think the whole cast does, they all shined in "Brave New World". I don't think acting skills are measured in the number of facial skills the person has, it's about how well the emotions are sold and you're definitely going to be less into those emotions if you hate the character's guts.Posted 5/30/2012 6:07:09 PM #
