JP actually didn't find anything wrong with it in her mini-interview after that episode aired. Trevino even called JP smart on twitter and the she won't let the fandom down after there was an ouburts of some sort. Idk which fandom he was referring to though. i hope Caroline and Bonnie give Elena a lot of shit for sleeping with Damon and not excuse it just because of the sire bond.
Oh don't even worry, I'll tell how it will go down, JP will make Caroline blame everything on the sire bond and Bonnie too..so they will be all like oh no this isn't Elena, poor thing she is sired...and Elena will be like no, no,no oh no, no no....Heck I would not be surprised if the next morning Elena wakes up and starts feeling guilty cos JP knows how to ruin a good moment...

Oh so they are finally admitting that their show is now fully based on what the fandom wants...good to know.

It was obvious since S2 interviews that both writers and actors live in their own little world separate from fandom and know nothing

It's kind of gross how far this show will go to strip Elena's decisions of any weight or meaning.
plus they're quite clearly making this sire bond about stefan and damon's man pain and not about the one person it should be about, Elena.

Yep JP will definately guilt trip Elena at some point. That is inevitable, everything Elena has ever done has to be accompanied by some sort of guilt and a tinge of regret. I don't remember Elena ever being unapologetic of anything. JP is determined to make her considerate and perfect, but other characters and not her will always suffer for her actions.
