    Just rembered Plec said Elena's human experiences were going to shape who she is as a vampire e.g, the loss, the tragedies, the victimization, 6 episodes later, We haven't seen any of that.

    I think for a difference it would've been cool if someone from the original family took care of Elena's 101 vampire course. Like Elijah or even Becky the original brat. Not just have the Salvatores make her every problem go away everytime.
