Everyone seems to think that the guy at the beginning of ep 1 is the white rabbit. May I ask why? What clues are there to make everyone think that is him? Did he have a watch or something? Just wondering...
First of all, his behavior of hurrying somewhere(and you could interpret the phone as the watch). Second of all you have the "Hatters and Cleaners" sign - Jefferson Airplane had song "White Rabbit" and The Cleaners had song "mad march hare"
Thirrd of all there's not really much of a choice - its really doubtftul they would throw baelfire or henry's father like that at us and the person is way too young to be either.

See I didn't even pick up on any of that but why is the white rabbit human? Personally I like the WL story but WL period was disappointing, I hated the Burton movie for all the CGI and I felt the same way with OUATs, why does WL need to be horribly CGI'd to look like an acid trip? Predictable is possible when writers make it seem too predictable to be true for viewers.

August's identity wasn't predictable for me. I watched the show with no spoilers surrounding me so maybe for some of you it was predictable. The closest hint I saw was when he "lied" about being Bael and being a jackass now and then.Posted 10/5/2012 6:44:08 PM #

99% of community guessed he is pinocchio when he commented about "having shin splits" during during the Emma's scene on the bridge.
As wella s the fact that Emma got transfered in a tree made by Geppeto and the only other "tree made by Geppeto" was Pinocchio.
however most of people thought it would be too predictable and then the writers luled everyone to safety with the whole "maybe he is Baelfire".
