Sorry but I do not see David as a moral compass. He lacks self-confidence because he wants to go back to FTL so he can rule over a castle and have people admire him. While in Storybrooke, he is merely a deputy which his daughter is the sherriff, Rumple owns the city, and Regina is the mayor.

WHAT is you saying?David definitely has self confidence in spades and he is the moral compass,he is the only one who has seen the clear difference between right and wrong always.Even when Snow faltered,he was there to help her.and he doesn't want to go back to FTL because he wants to rule them,he could very easily do that in storybrooke too imo.Everyone there considers him prince eitherway. He wants to go back because its home and Snow doesn't because she knows there is nothing there. Its just a diff of opinion imo

Yeah that he is.and Emma's not really boring, but compared to Snow/Rumple/Regina maybe.I mean she has magic now.So that could really be interesting.BN mentioned her getting addicted to something.what if she gets addicted to Magic?Wouldn't that be something to see.I'm looking forward to it tbh.

Why when according to Rumple, magic comes from emotions so anybody can have magic. I will have like Emma having magic but she cannot even get her lie detection thing right.

Except that thats not why he wants to go back.

He simply, rightfully feels that they do not belong here.

Unlike MM/Snow who finds this setting more comforting.

Why when according to Rumple, magic comes from emotions so anybody can have magic. I will have like Emma having magic but she cannot even get her lie detection thing right.because of emotions - her lie detector worked when she believed in herself, it did not when she did nto want to believe in herself or was biased AND it actually concealed the truth from her when she was in denial.

So that could really be interesting.BN mentioned her getting addicted to something.what if she gets addicted to Magic?Yes. That's what I am thinking from that scene where hse created that barrier around the shop.

And yes, anyone could technically have magic, but at different capabilities of power.

And using magic is addictive.

i'm not so sure about that.Is magic in itself addictive or the power that comes with that?I mean technically Rumple and Cora.even Regina were essentially powerless when magic came to them. They got addicted to the power imo, thats why Rumple can't really let go.But its diff in case of Emma. She already has her power, her self confidence. Why would she get addicted to it?

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
