So from what I gather from this completely and utterly useless and empty episode is that the whole episode had only on eimportant thing - the whole ring, ghost stabbery stuff as a cop out for the plot. Meh.
Elena scenes - BORING. Who cares. Why is she evn in this episode doing NOTHING while we wcould be spending time on Abby, on BOnnie, on Caroline, on Bonnie's character development? WHY?
Matt scenes - YET AGAIN WHO CARES. The guy was not even useful.
Melissa - UGHHH.
Flashbacks - USELESS, only used to introduce Sage who is a HUGE letdown.
MF Killer storyline - seems it is ENTIRELY pointless and consequence-less used to introduce a new plot device. Wanna bet Elena will get possessed in the end of season?
Becky was...pathetic.

Bassically the MF KIller plotline is a cheap way to retcon out the rings that ENTIRE FRIGGIN FANBASE HAS BEEN ALREADY COMPLAINING ABOUT FOR TWO YEARS.

I was expecting a LOT more. Is that all Sage showed Damon? I mean...seriously? All this "Sage showed me how to have a good time" and all she did was point out who he should feed on. And everything they said about Sage being to Damon what Lexi was to Stefan. "Sage...speaking of great sex." UGH...was that all she did? How can they compare Lexi/Stefan's friendship to Damon/Sage's great sex?
Alaric...not who I expected! Matt and Elena were boring! Get back in that closet, disappear to Narnia and never come back! Damon/Rebekah makes me want to throw up. I do not approve.
I loved the Salvatore moments. I didn't think it felt rushed though. I think it was very much needed. Damon needs to realise that he still has his brother, no matter what, and stop treating him like shit. I think Paul Wesley was amazing this episode.
"I don't need a woman for pleasure. I'm spoken for." AWWWWW! This was like the best part of the episode for me. Damon's love for Katherine!
