    @Elena don't even get me started talking about Elena's awful outfits. Haha that is a HUGE problem of mine. Overall I felt like there was so much build up for this episode, the killer plot, Sage's introduction and it was all so unexciting. I agree with whoever said that the Stefan/Damon bonding felt forced. Normally that seems pretty genuine but it just felt so cheesy this time. And Sage was just...wtf? Really everything about the episode was wtf worthy.

    I liked a lot the ring thing. FINALLY some consequences to the immortality that these characters on this show is granted.

    The round Table is hardly ever bias when comes to this show. They actually thought it was a good episode.

    I liked a lot the ring thing. FINALLY some consequences to the immortality that these characters on this show is granted.

    I WOULD have liked it IF:

    • It happened IN DAMN SEASON ONE.
    • It was not as contrived and asspull-ish as it was. 
    • it was not there just for pure reason of somehow getting rid of the damn plot armor rings.
    • It was way too reminiscent of how Stargate retconed the healing coffins(how long was it? 10? 12? 16 years ago?), which was also one of the equally lame retcons for the plot armor item.

    Meh, past few days been reading up on, marketing, reviews and exclusive information and the intricacies of marketing and all that other stuff. By now I pretty much disregard any sort of "official" reviews or opinions. Its not something that matters, nor should matter.

    TBQH I kinda worried for her. But duh, they would never do an anorexic storyline because DUH, that's so not interesting!

    I haven't watched the whole episode but I got as far as the bit where Damon was making jokes about what he did last week and wanting elena to thank him for saving her even though he ruined someones life in the process.just...ugh

    And elena just goes "now you're just being mean"as if she was scolding a bold child not someone who for all intents killed her best friends mam.Someone said about the defan scenes feeling off?i think that's because the keep telling us these two love each other yet they keep letting a bratty 18 year old get between them.
