That vampire hunter curse(lol, i know)

So i just figured about that curse that a hunter leaves on a vampire if a vampire kills the hunter. I thought it might be somewhat relevant, since i read a new hunter is whereever.
There is a huge flaw(one of many) about the idea and/or writing of this curse. It is said to take down the vampire who killed the hunter. But if one notice, it's a psychological play. Meaning it wouldn't work on ANY of the vampires who choose to "flip the switch", since they probably wouldn't care about some human offering them illusionary blood(i know i wouldn't).
It seems like one of the things they made up just before they started shooting. "Oh wait, we need consequences for each kill Elena makes! Otherwise, she ain't golden anymore".

What you're saying is true but Klaus the "badest" vampire of all time did say that when he was cursed it was the worst years of his life, so I don't know if any vampire would take that risk. Many of course would. But I think some vampires would just run instead of killing a hunter.

But I think some vampires would just run instead of killing a hunter.the thing is - the curse is counter-intuitive, from what I heard - You have supposedly five hunters in the whole world and a vampire is a predatory species - so TO SURVIVE long enough to encounter one of THEM would mean that you would have to be quite dangerous and mad yourself.
Logic dictates that those who survived long enough to ENCOUNTER ONE of them would already be pretty much psychopaths desensitized to any sort of guilt or self-control due to all the fucking killing and rule-free life to even be AFFECTED by such things.

Klaus did have it bad with the vampire curse but he did kill all five at once. All in all the hunter curse is a joke just like most things in TVD.
