not really, it[s the way how plec handled the storyline by poking plotholes, they got potential until plec fucked it up and Elena's down syndrome gotten worse last s3. So don't blame it on them, most people i know who watch this show are willing to quit if they kill off the originals, because that's the only thing the show is going for since most fans are now getting sick of the ship wars and the triangle of doom being the centre of the fuckiing universe

Please, the Originals made the show. Only 5 people watch for the lame triangle. Kol/Klaus/Elijah>>>>>Damon/Elena/Stefan.
Yep. Watching Kol sit in a chair, chewing gum a whole damn episode would be more interesting than the two Salvatore brothers pining away over their "beloved" lamp post.

Its sounds very tempting since it will not involve Elena, but even just for Klaus I would start watching...and if they plan to bring in Hayley - sorry, no. Unless Elijah and Kol joins them, along with Caroline and Stefan at some point....nope.
Plec CAN'T live without Elena.
Chances are:
- Hailey will be jut as irritating.
- Klaus, given a main role and considering how much plec likes Joseph, will be a full on infallible gary stu.

I am not blaming it on them - I blaming it on plec's decision to drop ALL OF THEM AT ONCE at the viewers - Slowly introduce them so each of them gets chance to establish their character and to be there in the show - that's good.
Drop them all at once without any reason except that they are related? LOLNO.

i would be interested for The Originals when the TVD would end but know, no no no 1000 times no!!! we don t know if it gonna be Elijah Kol Rebeka, we are informed only for Klaus.
i don t understand why somebody would take a character from a serie and put him an another when he has already chemistry with the present characters on the TVD and a love interest with a lot of fans!!

I meant his chemistry with characters from TVD which are popular, like Stefan and Caroline. I don't think they're going to ship those 2 off with him but I don't think either of those relationships will get dropped either. Part of why Klaus is popular is because of his relationship with certain characters, aside from his siblings.

I really can't see anything good they can do with Klaus as a lead character. Also, from the way it was decribed it seems more Klaus centric than Orginals centric, we only know the back-door pilot will be focused on them. Claire wasn't even mentioned. and I don't care for Hayley/PT. ugh I don't want this spinoff.
otoh, there's already 2 other EPs (if it get's picked up), so maybe Plec wouldn't be involved too much? and it would suck a little less than tvd? idk.
