Alright, so we got some Klaroline on Thursday and I have to say that I actually kind of like it. I'm not gunna lie, this did come out of nowhere and it is a bit rushed, but other then that I really do like their potential. I love how Caroline isn't afraid to tell it like it is and she kept dismissing anything nice he had to say about her. Maybe that's what draws Klaus in, who knows? I know alot of the people on this forum are against and I really wanna know why. I don't think that it is so far fetched. Now if it was like Bonnie and Klaus, that would be different. I don't see any difference between these two then I do with Damon/Elena. I mean Damon was an ass and he's the reason a bunch of people we love are dead, but still he changed when he fell in love with Elena. I think Damon and Klaus are alike in many ways, I just think Klaus is like an amplified version of Damon. These are just some thoughts, I would love to know what you guys think.

It would be a complete character assassination for Caroline. It would also destroy whatever is left of vilain-like behavior surrounding Klaus. He is already a crybaby wimp. All he needs is a romance now.

Yes it is. Caroline is not written in the way that would allow this to happen. She is not the kind of person who would eve rbe interested in Klaus.

99% of people on this forum hate that "pairing" too. At least that one makes sense in show since Elena is supposed to be oh so perfect that everyone falls for her and oh so caring that she could pay attention to serial rapist like Damon. IT still makes no sense irl and most of DE scenes isnce S2 are still horridly forced and character degrading though.

Yes. Damon was destroyed as cahracter thorough S2 and S3. He lost the complex multi-layered personality that made him enjoyable and became an one-dimensional Edward-like wimp(just like steffie). Everyone here fears that is happening to Klaus. All signs point to the fears being true.

i think the writers are handling it wrong !,,,the whole horses and painting thing was too much !!,,,i mean for the whole episode ,,i totally forgot klaus is the bad guy !,,,i am on board of showing us a good side of him ,but painting and horses ,it was just too cliche!
other than that i like caroline and i also like klaus ,,and their interaction is nice ,,so i'd rather have a whole episode with klaus and croline than one scene with stupid boring elena in it !

I actually love to death this ship and I know some other people on this forum like it too. yes, some bits were a lil cheesy but the whole thing was so beautiful I didn't even mind. plus, don't forget the guy's old-school; his flirting is meant to be a bit cheesy. I was hardcore Delena, even though morally it was wrong (bro's gf, Damon killed a bunch of people, etc.), so I'm all for Klaroline now. of course it would be out of character for Caroline to immediately fall in love with Klaus and this is why she kept telling him off but gradually she could have a change of heart.
anyway, that's my opinion. take it or leave it ;)

Morgan (Klaus) said in an interview that he's drawn to her because of the turning down, because he is used to getting what he wants and the fact that he's not for once is just "furthering the hunt" I know alot of the people on this forum are against and I really wanna know why. I don't think that it is so far fetched. He killed Jenna, turned Tyler, Caroline was the original vamp to kill in his sacrifice before Damon saved her. Forwood was fluffy perfection until he sired him, he's made Elena's life twice as worse as it already was, etc etc, to sum it all up he's a douche, and there is a repetition of the bad ass villains turning soft over just one person all of a sudden. Most of the discussions here is why can't there be a villain that is actually a villain without having a sympathetic tear jerking history or soft spot for one person. But I'll contradict myself here and say I like Klaroline. I don't really like that Caroline's story lines are only romantic interests now, or a family problem which gets resolved in 5 minutes. Her mom in season 2, the dad in this season. Klaus is just like every other male on the show (excluding matt and tyler) for falling for a fucking Petrova, but the difference is that Elena and Katherine have intrigued them all because they make them nostalgic over whatever Petrova they met centuries ago. Klaus is the only guy who doesn't express annoying Petrova nostalgia (but of course the writers may change that) and he has tortured both K and E without being soft on them like the other guys, because they're such drop dead beautiful doppelgangers. Here is someone who actually moves from a Petrova to a different girl, rather than everyone else who moved from Petrova to Petrova. And as a Caroline fan I just like seeing other character's being drawn to her. I don't see any difference between these two then I do with Damon/Elena. Which is exactly why it's being compared to them and is pretty much being called the new Delena. I go places outside of just this forum, lol :) tumblr. And like you said, a lot of us here don't like the ship, we also don't like Delena so all the more reason to hate both if they're similar. Your comparison is valid but Klaus is a lot worse than Damon and Caroline is a lot less dumb than Elena, so in a way it would be worse than Delena. And I agree, K and D are both alike considering the daddy hates me drama, the being rejected over someone else, the being lonely for centuries, etc. Still I like KC, not like I want or expect them to have some paradise endgame relationship. That's for forwood (: Oh, and I love this forum, but if you want KC love, there is tons of fans on tumblr (some of them are stupid) or you can come to me~ lol. Agreed with this.One of major reasons why this crackship is hated is because it completely and utterly degreades the supposed "main villain of the show" who already is but a shell of a villain through all the crying and friend-wishing.

It would be wrong no matter how much time passes. Klaus is not someone who would ever fit her character development. His character being introduced as some sort of love interest threatens the very foundations of Caroline's character, everything(the only thing) that show carefully built up and did not fuck up.
Caroline is not someone who would ever, ever, ever, pay attention to him. Writers doing that would destroy the very foundations of her character and everything that they built her up as for last three seasons.

I just found it very awkward having klaus act all awkward schoolboy over her lol It didn't seem very villainy to me just...cringy. Plus I think Caroline for being with guy who is basically the only reason she can't be with Tyler.
