Tyler is the only sensible male character in the show who did not spend time abusing women or showcasing male superiority. He was someone equal to caroline and someone who developed alongside caroline.

Lately he's just there, not mentioning his wooden and expressionless face.....they should"ve given him a dignified exit though than having Klaus hunt him out town and giving him a head start. They've made him spineless and beyond annoying.

Tyler had so much potential and what happened is a clear favoritism, ala how Teen Wolf just decided to get rid of Erica in-between-seasons for nor eason at all(Except threats from slut-shaming misogynist parts of fanbase who want their slash pairing)

I love it how when TVD kills of all the grown up relatives these kids had, we never get to see how these kids get around to the point where they have to live on their own....yeah, I know, I know, I am not raising the issue of real life probs again becos the show obvsly cares more about how to move from one guy murdering someone to get him into bed with some forgiving female (not pointing at anyone specific just fyi)...and I just hate it that these kids walk around like eh, my relative died yesterday, I am just going to move on with my life...even with Tyler, his mom was killed and the only thing he was interested in these last two episodes was to get revenge on Klaus by just sitting there in the kitchen and watching Klaus suffer from being held in that room by the spell....no real plans of action, no real plan of revenge...so I guess that is why I am not at all saddened by Tyler leaving because that is the only he finds useful and since it happened so many times before, why should I care?

@Liza, this so much! he always leaves town when something mjaor happens, I think he should just leave permanently. I heard Trevino is probably gonna come next season but as a guest star or something.

It is so ironic that I troll them, but 40% of them are so annoying. The trend was "JM can't leave TVD", now who else but KCers would trend that? Klaus fans alone are over the moon about his spinoff
