was anyone else seriously in awe of Ian somerhalder tonight?

   Obviously I have thought before what a great underrated actor he truly is. He's noticed more for his looks than ability, though he has proved his acting prowess through each episode. Particularly in tonights episode though. My mouth was agape, he was incredible seriously! The contrasting emotions and that final monologue! He just switches from distraught to sarcastic........ I really think he deserves recognition for his acting ability. The final scene was just epic. If it takes damon constantly being loves bitch to witness such fantastic scenes then bring on the misery. PS that delena hug was amazing! I'm really glad that she saw his vulnerability and how much he does feel.She acknowledged him as her friend! Finally! She has admitting to caring about him since he snapped jeremy's neck but the ice seems to have thawed. Although i enjoy fun damon I really don't want any more hostility between them. Why get them back on track to just derail them again? x

   Yeah... he's an amazing actor. And he proves it all the time, gets better and better with every epsiode 0.o

   I <3 him :) And yes... Delena was good in this episode, and the hug? Teehee :3

   I couldn't agree more, Ian was immense...I mean he always is but wow...he really blew me away yesterday! It is amazing that he hasn't won more awards for his acting because he really is one of the best actors on television!!
