They have a connection, quite pure one and I wouldbe quite disappointed if ripper-steff(when steff FINALLY FINALLY DAMNIT gets to that point) would not twist that in some way.

Stefan/Damon/Elena triangle is enough I don't want Forwood in a triangle... and Stefan and Caroline are really cute together, I don't see them as a couple though...
