    lol so it's like X-men with porn?in nutshell?No.

    That would imply that the show takes itself seriously.

    And that would be hard to do when "the oracle and the soothsayer" is a rapping girl in a chinadress and a thousand year old super-weapon looks like stereotypical 85 year old granny addicted to reality tv(to the point that her powers only activate if you turn off the TV in her room). 

    Its a semi-serious self-aware contemporary fantasy, with a good mix of serious and not-serious-at-all episodes and progressive outlook towards sexual orientation.

    And by progressive I mean that the lead character would fuck anything that lives(if we do not count the time where she sort-of got turned on by a dancing corpse) and the show does not make a big deal out of it.
