Worst character in season 2
Matt & Bonnie
Because Elena is dull, bland and useless. She cares and does NOTHING active other than getting all her relatives killed and letting the bad guys get away. She have no personality. She sits in the boarding house and cares like a black silhouette.
can't understand why so many people think Elena was the worst character!!!!!
Because she was. and still is.
She is boring useless character who spends time shrugging and frowning, did not do anything awesome, dresses worse than an extra, has a personality of a wall(actually I bet watching a wall would be far more interesting than watchigne elena) is stuck in endless loop of love triangle plotlines that bore viewers to death. Has a huge mary sue personality with t he show treating her as BEST THING EVER. And she always ends up right even if she is completely and utterly wrong.
As i see it Elena is the most important person...
Yet for all intents and purpsoes she has a personality and role equal to that of a vase or a table.
I mean without the whole present sacrifice stuff this season wouldnt have been that interesting.
Then you are in minority, since majority fracking hated the whole sacriffice storyline which led to nowhere.
which ultimatelly means nothing since:Jenna/John did not affect the plot in anyway nor did their deaths. Klaus is said to not be the main badguy Steff would still eventually have to do the same stupid thing even if we take out sacriffice itself. Steffan will eventually be the good puppy again will no consequences of his frolicking. Being forced to be someone's lackey instead of going bad yourself severly weakens the whole going bad thing.
Season would have been better if the curse wasn't broken, I just think they'd be more drama there. Worst character. Stefan Salvatore :)
Actually it would have been better wif we did not have originals/klaus/sacriffice yet.
Have the first half of season deal with Katherine(the fullexploration of everything, including on how it feels emotionally for elena to have someone practically impersonate her/wear her face, as well as legal problems from uncle john ending up in the hospital with a knife wound with pretty much only possible suspect being Elena and what reprecursions it has on her life). make Katherine be an actual huge threat. Make Elena try to retain her life, Katherine is tearing away from her. Clear her name, make sure the whole police murder stuff does not get her dropped out of school, struggle to survive the semester, etc, etc, etc. Katherine is this wild tornado tearing away the house that is elena's life and Elena is trying to hold it together. Develop Jenna s the character in the above storyline. Jeremy as well. Maybe have him doubt in her innocence for a while, since he was always at better light with John than Elena was. Properly develop the possibilities of statherine and datherine. slowly introduce werewolf mythology with Jules arriving in town unknown, other werewolves, etc. Develop Matt into a character more similar to Book Matt. Ala someone who is loyal and puts his faith into his friends no matter monster or human they are. Who sees good in every person and ultimatelly believes that every person is inherently good. Then at season hiatus have Tyler get his curse-kill, jules reveals herself to others and Kat kills Elena in a car crash(coming full circle from the previous two crashes) so by the second half she wakes up vamp(ala how it goes in the books). Cue more character development, moral dilemmas, etc. Make it more intense and less happy-go-lucky transition(that is opposite of Caroline's). hell include some chewing on random people, her refusing to eat for days and her having to feed on voluntary matt(the scene from the books) A the same time develop Tyler/Caroline plotline.Pretty much same as it was, minus matt. Have jules appear and repeat the whole first werewolf standoff, but without jonas/elijah interventions, making it so that damon gets bit and they all escape with caroline and tyler. werewolves leave MF to regroup. Have tyler explain Jules reasoning of appearing, cue introduction to the concept of curse. leave out the whole doppelganger thing for now. Have the finale roll downdays before summer break, When Elena's "i want to reclaim my life" gets interrupted by return of Katherine(cue the grudges elena holds), whcih in itself gets cut short with a huge pack of werewolves attacking the MF for moonstone and somewhere in there the whole liz-shoots Jeremy storyline comes in, too, but without revival crap. The very ending cliffhanger of S3 being yet another book scene where Kat and Elena wrestle each other out into the sunlight and both burn. Cue few months latter. Cue very similar scene to S2 real finale, with Bonnie getting haunted by Elena's ghost in vivid nightmare and waking up in cold sweat. Cue s3.
I would have been happy with something akin to this.
